Hello everyone! I read through the thread and I appreciate the good work of @cashmadam, @gisselle and everyone who has contributed their knowledge here. I have few questions; 1. I work with a foreign firm and I receive payment via Deel, which eventually I receive into my local bank via crypto p2p. Which is best to provide as bank statement? Deel receipt or local banks? 2. If I intend to use local my local bank and I wish to apply for visit visa in January 2025, should I start paying myself salary now into a separate account or can I just use my bank statement reflecting transactions from various accounts? 3. Will a salary of 750k per month without any sponsor suffice or do I need additional source of income? 4. I have landed properties. Should that be included? 5. I intend to go for vacation and nothing more, is there anything I shouldn't include in my application or should start planning for now? 6. I have no travel history and my passport has not been deflowered, should I be worried? 7. Which is the best visit visa to apply for? I intend to apply for 2 years visa. I know these questions are much and probably might have been answered before but I will appreciate your kind responses. |

Ormohlawlah: Change the trip duration to 5 days. The shorter the better. When she gets the visa, she can stay for as long as she wants (up to 5months+) |

Silent follower of the thread. Goes to show this visit visa thing one size cannot fit all situation at all. What one person will do and get the visa another will find it is the main reason they were not given I could not follow some of the advice given here due to a situation that arose near application time that we could not get mum's bank statement after we had kept it clean for months. Applied for mum as unemployed instead of petty trader and without attaching her bank statement and we got the visa. All the best to everyone waiting. 1 Like |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:32am |
itzhanie001:As usual. This thread will never grow. But if they wanted to deny it they would use the missing bank statement as grounds for refusal? No? So why not also share the ‘peculiar’ info but instead come here to discredit advice ppl are giving? The situation that arose for your mother, why not share it if we are all been helpful? Why not help others? |
