This was about 11 km into Romanian territory, near the Ukrainian border.

Or else they would’ve fallen into populated areas.

⚡Heroes of Russia's Northern Military District and the city of Donbass are offered to be placed on banknotes and coins.

The Russian Central Bank is asked to place portraits of fallen heroes of the Northern Military District, images of Donbass cities and military equipment on money.

“Only in this case will the tasks of perpetuating the memory of fallen heroes and educating Russian youth be solved,” says the appeal addressed to the head of the Central Bank from State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova.

Such banknotes and coins should be produced not in limited editions, but in mass editions so that all residents of Russia use them daily.

Using the money, Lantratova suggested placing portraits of Vladimir Zhoga, Adam Khamkhoev, Alexei Osokin and others. Mariupol could be on a five-thousandth banknote, Avdeevka on a two-thousandth bill, Donetsk on a thousand, Lugansk on five hundred.

Images of weapons can be on coins of 1 and 2 rubles: T-90M “Breakthrough” tank, BMPT-72 “Terminator”, TOS-1A “Solntsepek”, Tu-95 bomber.
