Lol, why the shock? Does she think women everywhere only focus on prostitution the way Nigerian women focus on it?

Does she think people are desperate for money the way all the men in her life are?
Does she think everyone doesn't value a good name and are ready to ruin their family name be entering yahoo or prostitution the way Nigerian do?

Does she think everyone worships money the way all her family members and friends do?

Nigerians are actually intellectually lazy. Imagine if Europeans or even Asians tap palms for their wine. The mode of tapping would have changed. But Nigerians have been tapping it the same way for centuries.

This their method looks stressful ooo

You have not farmed cassava or potatoes or yams and had grass cutter come and eat your crops just before harvest, that's why you said so. Neither have you had to uproot any of the above listed crops during harvest time(early dry season) that's why you called this stressful. In fact, I doubt if u have ever farmed before, period!

Good afternoon, well-meaning Nigerians.

Please, I need your help Sir/Ma.

My name is Olaoluwa. I am 32 years old and an O-Level holder. I had a car accident last year, lost my job, and became jobless for months.

Please help me; I am seriously hungry. The last time I ate was Tuesday evening, and it was my remaining garri that I drank. I have not eaten any other food since Tuesday evening other than the water that I have been drinking to gain some strength. I can no longer endure the hunger; my body is starting to shake. Please, my people, I am really sorry for begging, but it is just that I am starving to death. Please, someone should help me with something to eat, no matter the amount. I don't mind. I will always appreciate you. I am starving. I know things are very hard these days. Anything you have to spare, I would really appreciate it.

I live at No 29, Kajola Street, Bode.Olude, Ita.Elega, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

If you live near me, please invite me for lunch; I am dying of hunger. May you never lack the good things in life. Please have mercy on me and help me.

My phone number is 0 7 0 1 8 9 7 4 5 8 3

Innovation is the bedrock of civilization

Unfortunately African do not naturally seek innovation like their counterparts in other continent

You are talking rubbish.

No country “naturally” seeks innovation. It all depends on govt policies. If govt policy encourages innovation by discouraging imports in particular, and vastly increasing power supply, innovation will be the order of the day.

Nigerians are very innovative.

Do you know how many inventions are lying fallow in our universities?

Indians and Pakistanis drink palmwine.

They call it ‘Toddy’.

You do know they have palm trees in “Asia”?

They tap palmwine using the exact same method as Nigerian tappers.

So what will you say now, Mr racial inferiority complex?

It is from this thread I know most Nigerians have not seen a farm. What is innovative in that? It is obvious what they planted is either cassava or potatoes which Nigeria has an abnudant of. As a matter of fact, Nigeria is the biggest producer of both cassava and potato in Africa and yam in the WWW yet some people are insulting Nigeria here because of two Asians who look like they are playing with sand. Ignorance na disease tru tru

dey play which government policy, this is what we were brainwashed with

It's surprising how many human innovations have occurred during times of absolute necessity, and even during war, human invention seems to accelerate dramatically.

Africans often tend to blame their government, divine entities, or external parties for their challenges.

If you check the list of the 100 greatest inventions of all time, you'll notice a lack of African contributions.

It's easy to attribute this to governmental failings, but this trend dates back to the early century when other regions were experiencing industrial revolutions, and Africa had little to show in terms of technological advancement.

even in those societies, governments sometimes persecuted and killed scientists whose inventions or ideas didn't align with the prevailing views.

Down here in Africa, we have what call farm tools, equipment and compliments.
We use them for planting and harvesting of crops. We don't use our bare hands to dig ground like wild animals.
