Let's see if the Nigerian government has the balls to restrict BA from MMIA if they do not give us Heathrow.

Airport slots is heavy international politics though. Slots will not be kept idle for you. If your country has no airline, of course the slot will be given to someone else and they will not want to release it now .

Other countries will continue to bully us until the government starts implementing an eye for an eye.

Why even write to uk authorities? They know what they are doing.

Make them to land at either Kano or Portharcourt.

One of the demands we should make as a nation during the protest is the principle of reciprocity in every aspect if u don't want us in your country we don't want you and your businesses..we will remain..suffer it and build our nation..we would trek until we come up with home grown solutions

How do u get to only see the negativity in all news??

Like, I read the same news, found that it's about the reciprocity of allocating slots, which is actually good for our local Airline, especially Air Peace, as was stated in the news

I'm worried for u now

Air peace is not a local airline. It's our national carrier for now and should be reciprocated the same gesture to when in any international airport and airspace.

Fear is a diseased boy. Why would the UK ban air peace?
If they do, Nigeria will ban BA.
Stop making yourself inferior to others

Ilorin airport is too far from Lagos na. That’s not fair enough.

Akure airport should do just fine.

I don't need your worry. Use the worry to buy common sense so you can comprehend.

Nigeria gave UK airline access to busiest airport in Nigeria while Uk didn't reciprocate.

Trust Keyamo nah, that Delta boy trained in Lagos go show them Pepper. He has already given a hint that Ilorin may be the new landing place for British Airways. Before Oyinbo connect flight from Ilorin to Lagos or Abuja or Port Harcourt, our Alfas for Ilorin go don use plenty of them for rituals,

Please, anyone who is close to Reno Omokri should tell him that the imminent peaceful protest is a protest against bad governance. It is a protest against hunger and hardship. It is not a Yoruba versus Igbo protest; neither is it Southwest versus Southeast. It will hold all over the 36 States. His inciteful posts between Yorubas and Igbos is stale! The mofo is not in the country so he doesn't know that the hunger/hardship in the land dey beat both Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, and other tribes. He is insensitive to what the common man is going through in the hands of Tinubu's government.

BTW:

How the planned peaceful protest pans out lies in the hands of the government. If they want it peaceful, it will be peaceful. If they unleash thugs on peaceful protesters, it will met with serious resistance.
Thank you. they use this Yorubas and Igbos to scatter people.

Keyamo, if you give British Airways Ilorin as you've suggested, it is still Nigerians that will suffer it.
Virtually all the states fly to Lagos but not all states fly to Ilorin. Put in another way, all airlines fly to Lagos (sometimes multiple times a day) but, not all airlines fly to Ilorin (for connecting flights) and terminal destination.

You don't seem to understand the game here. Same way it is hard for passengers to connect from Gatwick will be the same way it will be for passengers to connect from Ilorin. The results. Passengers coming from UK will prefer flying other Airlines that land in Lagos instead of flying British Airways that will only land in Ilorin. That means bad market for British airways. That is what Airpeace is already suffering in UK for being only able to land in Gatwick instead of Heathrow

NIGERIA, a case of a house divided against itself. Why won't British people use us to play ping pong when we always use our own hands to pull our brothers down because of differences in our languages and culture. Evil leaders looted the country dry and always play the ethnic card once he is called to account for his stewardship. A country where a qualified candidate will be answering sir to a person without certificate because of ethnic affiliations. That is what led to liquidation of many offices and investment in Nigeria. Where is Nigerian Airways of old. If the airline was not run aground because of embezzlement and other things, by now it should have been competing with the rest of the world's airlines.
Sidrika or whatever his name is comes to mind.

First, it is a travesty for you to compare British Airways (and its OneWorld alliance) with Airpeace and its leased planes.
Second, what other options are available?
Lastly, I stand by my initial position - Nigerians will suffer it more.

Can you compare the number of Nigerians seeking to travel to the UK against the number of Britons seeking to visit Nigeria?

Yes let Nigerians suffer it. I will also expel some of their diplomats if they don't yield. We behave like weaklings that is why we are not respected anywhere in the world

I dare you! Your stewpeed FG can't do that. I repeat, your stewpeed FG can't do that because it depends on Britain in so many ways. She'll never want to bite the finger of Britain. Even your national anthem is British. The name of Nigeria was coinde by Britain. So you see?
