Bros. Dead the matter. You didn't watch enough Chelsea games to be postulating on this matter.

You actually think the last five games were the only games Palmer played AM and Madueke as LW? Don't be joking baba.

We have many many problems. Our owners have proper madness about them. Plenty sef.

1. Wasting a billion on otherwise averagely priced players. Leading us to a place where they have to sell HG players (first team and academy) because they are pure profit, to comply with PSR.

2. Ruining the academy spirit as a result. The once best academy in the country.

3. Having no technical plan to build the club.

4. Stacking up on players for the sake of it.

5. Spending still, a combined hundreds of millions on average duds like Ugochukwu, instead of promoting from academy and saving money.

4. Sacking Tuchel.

5. Not hiring Nagelsmann.

They have plenty problems. Firing Poch was not one of those. It was the right decision at the right time.

Now did they hire the right person in replacement? Time will tell. But let nobody try to tell us Poch should not have gone.

Poch that everybody wanted to drive back to Buenos Aires right after the Arsenal game is the same one we are now saying should not have been sacked only 3 weeks later?

Abeg!

this post wasn't to me o but your number seems harsh and unfair

1. At the time Chilwell had injury issues, they bought the best lb in the league not outside, but EPL so their isn't an excuse of adjusting and all that. Rudiger and Christensen, left for free, and we bought Series A best CB. We got Sterling after losing out on Raphina, this ain't your so called average players. The players you would say that made the transfer turn to billions would be the 60m+ transfers not the many >30m or >40m players. Chelsea had serious squad problems, due to past owners issues as well.

2. Which nonsense ruining academy spirit. When they gave James and Colwill contracts were they renewing the academy abi is there something we are missing. Was it not Chelsea that kept the Chalobah many here didn't even rate to sell the marketable Guehi and other players. Or is it because a midfielder turn lb was sold to Newcastle and who hasn't turned to some superstar now or the selling of Oscar. Abeg how did they ruin the academy in less than 3seasons? Did they lose any top talent, abi u no dey follow news, with the contract Chelsea are giving those kids they value. Chelsea never wanted to keep Gallagher. That's old news, and they might keep him.

3. There may be some point to this, for a club that's been a whole lost of phrases recently but last season was a bright spark compared to their first season. But how can you confidently say they haven't built a structure nor have a technical plan to build the club. You buy almost 40 new players and obviously a some would be bad, it's a miracle it's a few that have been bad or even that bad.

4. Which one is stacking up players for the sack of it. Lot of links sound like rumors, we needed a new GK, Sanchez has his issues, Petrovic has his weakness when it comes to style and pattern of play, Slonina was barely 18 or 19, it's the kind of buy Abrahamovic era would have done. We didn't buy a LB because it's not in their plan. Tuchel Potter and now Maresca use a 3atb kind of system. We needed a LW yes or yes😮‍💨 they bought Sterling and Mudryk instead of Leao. Now if Chelsea had spent 120m on Leao instead of 70m on Mudryk would he have been better? Even with all the stacking almost a dozen players were injured last season. Imagine a 38yr still starting at CB, is it their fault Fofana missed a whole season with injury and they bought Disasi.

5. Apart from Ugochukwu who barely played 3games, who could be sold for profit. Who else, who in the academy could they promote, when they loaned out Santos and have Lavia injured

I skip this fake number 4, because Tuchel deserved to be sacked I only agree that the timing was wrong. And Nagglesmann who, he may have flopped as well.

Lol Poch was going to be sacked, they never fully trusted him nor wanted him. I agree with you sacking Poch isn't part of the problem.

I feel the board as a plan around a 343, 3223, style of play

kingBolton:
Petrovic
Sanchez
Slolina
And now Jorgensen
That's how much spent on GK and still, we cannot confidently say the GK position has been solved.
Petrovic €16m
Sanchez €25m
Slonina €8m
Jorgenson €24m

€70m+
Petrovic can be sold for higher, Jorgenson is worth more than €24m and Sanchez used to be good before his injury and issues

Funny enough, I am not on the side that the board are completely rubbish. There's a lot of shenanigans going on but I strongly believe that they are slowly walking back their initial mistakes.

I think at this point, they are on the right track, and they are more likely to succeed than they are to fail. It might take lots of stumbling to get there, but we will.

One cannot boldly say the signings of Estavao, Paez, Guiu, Lavia, Caicedo, Gusto, Veiga, Palmer represent anything close to bad business.

That's not to say that they have not tampered with the spirit of the academy. You see the likes of Mendel Idowu, Lewis Hall, Rio Ngumoha deciding to leave the club on the basis of "no longer seeing a path to the first team".

You also see the likes of Neil Bath and Jim Fraser who have been with the academy for nearly 20 years quit. This is very bad news for the academy, and it's ruined the spirit, let's been frank. Unless you have not been following the news.

So there's good and bad. We just have to hope that we start getting more good than bad.

I'm amazed the sacking of clueless Pochetino who proved himself to everyone and even his number one fan on this platform, Popziano can be said to be a wrong call.

A coach with no style and identity, who's bereft of ideas, making wrong selections and substitutions for almost the whole of the season.

It took the injury of Chilwell to stop his usage as a winger at the expense of proper wingers.

I don't see reason why we should not trust the process of a coach with an imprint.
coach wey make Popizaino give up na who dem no suppose sack

turning Chilwell to a winger isnt a valid point o, dont be surprised if he remains a winger under Maresca

A dream that can't turn to reality. Maresca is not dull as Pochetino.

I wanted us to sign two natural CFs that are better than Jackson. We haven't done that.

Just listen to yourself. Read what you posted again and try to make sense out of it.

Meanwhile, I am still waiting for your response from the bolded I quoted before. Prove it or apologise for accusing me wrongly.

On a normal day, Popi fit change mind about coach before clock strike 12pm so that's saying nothing

Pep had a poor first season

This Maresca has many red flags, from getting sacked for poor performance at Parma to wobbling badly with an overwhelming favourite in Leicester. Most importantly, he is an idealist who cannot (or refuses to) change tack when plan A is not working. And in Chelsea, plan A hardly ever works. Chelsea has always been a plan B or C team.
