Kids born in this millennium will not realize what this stuff is. They will think it is blue garri? Do you still remember this detergent that was very popular in the 80s and 90s? 128 Likes 11 Shares

This detergent peel the back of my fingers that year, hard and does not dissolve completely unlike modern detergents, but wash better than the green canoe, Solo and Awe soap How time flies! occfx: generalJumong1: 7upnigeria: 141 Likes 10 Shares

Kongaone:I don't think it's the Omo atleast not the original one because no matter the quantity you use it will never foam as much as the original Omo detergent. I believe our old Yoruba mamas call it "Suf" or something like that.. 96 Likes 6 Shares |

Rapmoney: At this point, I feel like most of you are stuck in the past! I was born in 2002 and my mother even sold this at her store. Matter of fact, I sold it and used it too, with that 'cutting soap.' 15 Likes |

Haha, Omo Omo held sway for a pretty long time as the go to detergent that others were called omo, you know that kind of "Maggi" for all seasoning cubes and indomie for all noodles thing. However, the demystification of omo started I think middle to late 90s with the coming of Ariel and klin. Today, no one remembers omo, c'est la vie! 15 Likes 2 Shares |
