fredoooooo:Well deserved. We should have killed them a long time ago especially when we had 15 points lead. We played better except for few errors here and there 2 Likes 1 Share |

ReubenE: Okonkwo is already on the list, although, I'd probably put her above Balogun. As for Musa, she deserves that number 2 spot. She was responsible for a lot of our interceptions and was probably the second best shooter after Ezinne Kalu. 2 Likes |

ReubenE: If that's true, then they need to abandon that tactic. It was a very risky move and could have cost us the game. Remove Ezinne's 19 points and we would have finished with just 56 points. 1 Like 1 Share |

Let me put this win better for you in context The Australian have Sandy Brondello as their coach, she's the coach of the best team in the WNBA currently (New York Liberty) while Wakama is just an assistant coach for a low tier college team. At least 9 of the Australian roaster have played in the WNBA at one point (they could be more, could only recognise 9 off the top of my head). 6 of them are currently on a WNBA team with a few of them as All Star and All defensive team candidates. They also have legendary Lauren Jackson on their roster. In comparison, None of our girls have played in the WNBA. Promise Amukamara is probably the only one that made the draft as a 3rd round pick but got cut. Musa is an homegrown talent who is recently getting opportunities in Europe. 3 of them literally just finished from college last year. Also, we are almost certain to make the quarter finals. This win is amazing 7 Likes 1 Share |

PDPGuy: Another fun Fact Rena Wakama is age mate with Ezinne Kalu and only one year older than Promise Amukamara. The age difference between her and the youngest player on the team is 8 years. She's building a massive CV right now. 2 Likes |
