The present government of Nigeria is in Morbid fear of its citizens.

The government is working round the clock to either beg, bribe or intimidate the citizens.

Tinubu I desperately throwing in all his cards to try to either persuade the citizens to cower in fear or accept his sugar coated last minute offers.

If he fails to stop the planned protest and if the protest gain the feared traction, Tinubu’s desperation might lead to a mishandling that will resemble the bloodbath of Bangladeshi.

Lol, same here ,invalid number , Number wey I check yesterday and it showed it has been verified with my NIN , Nah yesterday night I come check again , Dey tell me Invalid line.

It's a very wise decision cos this would have fueled the protests from what I saw today at MTN office at Sapele Road Benin City, they have to call police for protection... Ppl dey vex you dey make them vex more.

I don't think it's so... I did my linking the first time they mentioned it... Since then, I've been checking intermittently and always got a message that my number has been linked, only for it to be blocked yesterday

Called customer care with another number and told the lady I have previously linked and gotten a confirmation to that effect, she just apologised for the inconvenience and asked me to go to a walk-in centre and link it again...

I want to believe this also affected those working in MTN office who have previously linked their SIM, lol

MTN are just stupid for asking customers to leave their ever busy schedule and come to their office for the NIN sim update. They should have advanced their platform so that customers can just upload their bio-data and passport to their website....and get the sim NIN updated easily. How you ask someone out of your carelessness to come to your office for sim update when the customer has already done that at the purchase of the sim. If your database has crashed, you can't make your customer stressing to come to your office again for a fresh registration. Some people go to work everyday 24/7.
