Did he actually see the bandits waiting or he sensed something was not right?

He was chasing that one flying in the upper right corner, after having first used horse and then Vhagar to pursue the mofo from King's Landing all the way to Dragonstone.

He got to the coast and he saw death waiting for him. Vhagar being a reptilian brain was still stupidly trying to chase the original target, but my boy Aemond showed that his one eye still dey function at maximum efficiency grin

Have you ever told somebody to flee before? That's a word I've only ever seen used in a descriptive sense, when someone is talking about what another person did or was about to do. Aemond was scares enough to instruct Vhagar to flee grin grin

What the government has done with this is use one stone to kill two birds.

With a pegged “Naira to dollar rate” and only between “NNPC and Dangote” , the government has decided to subsidize PMS and also take away the leverage of subsidy from NNPC.

- Opebee [on X]

It will also free Dangote from IOC bottlenecks. The frustration he is getting from IOC has to some extent comes to a halt - since he will directly be supplied locally henceforth.

I doubt if Dangote refinery can sufficiently cater to local demands though and there's no way Dangote can sale below 800 naira if he's going to make profit..

We'll see what happens on August 14 sha.

As long as Tinubu has the means to keep fuel at 568 in NNPC, Dangote will still cry, marketers will still laugh.

Can Dangote sell below 800?

If dem like, collect bags of corn from Dangote, in exchange for crude oil, 568 will still not let him sell shi shi

BREAKING: President Tinubu has extended an offer of support to the Dangote Refinery by proposing that NNPC sells crude to the refinery in Naira, providing a valuable lifeline.

In order to maintain the stability of fuel prices and the exchange rate between the dollar and the Naira, the Federal Executive Council accepted a suggestion put forward by President Tinubu today. The proposal involves selling crude oil to Dangote Refinery and other new refineries in Naira.

The Dangote Refinery currently needs 15 shipments of crude oil annually, amounting to a total cost of $13.5 billion. NNPC has pledged to provide four of these cargoes.

The FEC has agreed to make available 450,000 barrels for local consumption, which will be offered to Nigerian refineries in Naira, with the Dangote refinery being the initial test. The exchange rate will remain constant throughout this transaction.

Afreximbank and other Nigerian settlement banks will support trade between Dangote and NNPC Limited, improving the process by removing the requirement for international letters of credit. It will also result in significant cost savings for the country by reducing the billions of dollars spent on importing refined fuel.
I don't think this is sustainable sha, isn't the budget benchmarked to crude oil sales in USD...now up to 30% of budgetary revenues will be tied to Naira earnings.

Well make we dey look sha...nothing really concern me for billionaires dem fight, especially since I know the average Nigerian would get the short end of the stick eitherway.

With the news that Tinubu has ordered the sales of Crude oil to Dangote in naira. How do you think this would affect the USD to NGN exchange rate?

He'll be sourcing less dollar to buy abroad for one, but at the same time NNPC will be earning less dollar since they are not selling that crude abroad. If procured at more or less the international price (reflected in Naira), it should net off and have little effect for that transaction, but it will have a positive effect on net dollar demand later downstream if Dangote then sells refined products to distributors in Naira

All Dangote cares about is the supply and pricing crude in Naira.
He can still sell gasoline to the NNPC at 1000 and they'll subsidize it to 568.
Landing cost was 1100 as of 2 weeks ago. https://punchng.com/petrol-landing-cost-now-n1117-litre-marketers/
Everything stays the same except the supplier.
