I think the mistake most of us are making is thinking this protest is channeled towards Tinubu. We should be able to see more than our bigotry. The protest is channeled towards the entire government of different parties.

The protest is about hunger and starvation, it's not about ending one government for the other.

Next step is if the government can subsidise the cost of foodstuffs across major markets in Nigeria. I think Lagos state has a model in place for that. But I’m thinking something more radical and impactful in the short term.

Tinubu’s iyaloja daughter has a key role to play here. If she has the contact of major market heads across the country, mobilise them to organise themselves such that the current stock of commodities is purchased by the government or subsidised by the government, then announce the revised prices. This will kill the current tension overnight.

Next, massive importation of grains and essential commodities for the next 3-6 months to keep prices down.

In the same time frame, intensify efforts to deal with the bandits ravaging farmlands.

Nigeria should be okay within 9 months barring any climate change catastrophe such as drought or flood.

* on electricity: we don't know who did it..but it really improved..

* on fuel cost and transportation: find a way to Mk Dangote get crude ,refine nd supply us..

* on transportation: bring in state actors to join the private sector in competition on transportation...private monopoly is I king cost of transportation

* on high cost of house: government shld join the property market, nd rent or partly sell to ordinary Nigerians in installation, the private home owners are killing the people

* on hunger in the land: temporary do heavy food import and create centers like 5 in each LG to sell at subsidize rate to lessen the demand on private owned food stuff..that will fall its price...

More reason why Nigeria can't continue in the unlawful useless unproductive military constitution thus must return back to Regionalism and Tinubu must take steps to working towards regionalism.
