I'm a farmer. No farmer purchases lands. I also know the amount involved. I have been actively involved in farming for five years straight. I know the profit margin involved. Do you know any of these things ? Go and sit down

which state are people given land to farm for free?
you are yet tell where you are selling that your cheap farm produce so that I can come and buy.

Seems "gaslighting" is a word u just discovered and u clearly don't know the meaning.
U claim I am in Agege and haven't been to Rigasa, I told u I have never been to Agege but being to Rigasa severally, but I'm the one gaslighting not u forcing ur iIIusions on me.

Oga i never said you were at Agege no dey lie and gaslight here oooo. what i said is you don't even have the mind to enter Agege and threaten the northerners there, then it is Rigasa that you want to go.

But returning to collect the harvest is also a brutal injury to farmers.
Zwooks:

They are not. It's only on news on Nairaland bandits are everywhere. All the Fulanis knows that when it's planting season, they vacate the farmlands only to return November after last harvest of the year.

Yes. The picture was in this page of this thread posted above.
You can continue playing ignorance, the result is already here for all of us to see, no need for anybody to try convince anyone.
You don't convince people with èmpty talks.
Provide the data that backs ur claim that "most farmers can't access their farms", u don't have it?
Seems it's ur usual beer parlour story, enter ur vehicle and drive around before making baseless cIaims.

Let's start from there.
Then support them with evidence that those people can't access their farms, I won't get to Benue till towards year ending, I don't mind going to those two villages to make videos of farmers in their farms to prove Iiars Iike u wrong.
I'm 4 states away from Benue right now.
So bring evidence to prove that they can't access their farms because of herdsmen.
(Out of the several communities in Benue, u can only mention two which u can't even prove that they don't go to farm, does it tally with the claim u are supporting that "most farmers can't access their farms"?)

Who is 'you guys'?

You can keep arguing pointlessly here about something that's as clear as day. Sooner or later, there will be (sadly) more violence visited upon farmers by these rogue herders - let's hear what your defence will be then.

This is my last response to you on this.
I am still waiting for you to back ur claim that "most farmers in Nigeria can't access their farms", u guys have peddled enough Iies already, time to start bringing proofs to back up ur Iies.
If it's glaring, the stats should be there, since there are no stats just talks, it's not glaring.

There's obviously something about the name 'Jagaban' that makes whoever bears it an empty vessel. Your principal talked up a storm and turned propaganda into an art form before last year's elections. What do we have today? A broken, shattered economy and a country stumbling from one crisis to the other. undecided And yet the man is still making empty promises and mouthing platitudes. You have followed in his confused footsteps with your empty, spurious claims about what you are going to do, see, think or hear in Benue. Just like your idol, you need to stop talking and start doing. Who do you think you're fooling?

Delusions.

Keep on keeping on.

Buhari's minions said much more than the garbage you are spouting. Where are they today? More important, what is the legacy of their principal? This legalistic nonsense you are actively promoting is worthless and will not count for anything. In the end your principal will be judged on whether he left this country better than he met it. In the end that's all that counts. History's verdict on BAT will endure and remain long after you and your ilk have gone on to another insignificant 'pay per post' gig where you sell your worthless souls for less than peanuts.

First and foremost, you think this discussion is about Tinubu?
LOL.
You see where u pètty obidents always get it wrong?
U think a country exists for a particular president that spends at most 8 years and leave?
So in order for me to show that I don't support Tinubu, I am supposed to agree with ur sh*tty cIaims that u can neither back with statistics nor any form of evidence, don't derail the discussion, "most farmers can't access their farms" where is the data to back such Iousy cIaims?
Ur principal was busy talking up how he will wield a wond and transform the country to a china in 4 years despite his woèfuI performance in his previous office he heId for 8 years and u gave him a standing ovation, guess that doesn't make u èmpty?
Statements that u are quoting from me are statements linking each other which passes a clear message, u isoIating them as individual statements show how èmpty u really are.
Bring evidence to back ur claim, we have been doing back and forth for almost 48 hours and u haven't posted a single data or statistics to back ur claim, is ur claim politically motivated?

Its always easy to figure out when a man was exclusively cornfed instead of exclusively breastfed...it comes to the surface because it just cannot be hidden. I have no principal on this board or outside of it. You on the other hand have adopted 'Jagaban' as your username undecided - in slavish admiration of a deeply flawed man that does not know his left from his right. Only a fool would engage in the pointless, meaningless 'whataboutism' you're engaging in. The man you idolize keeps claiming he spent decades preparing for the presidency...and this confusion and turmoil is what Nigerians get? This is what they get? undecided

Your principal's administration has been an incompetent, wasteful experiment. An abysmal failure so far. If you weren't incapable of introspection and self examination of any kind then you would acknowledge that simple truth and may just learn something from it.

I am shocked that you complain of high food prices and Fulani incessant brutal butchering of farmers across Northern Nigeria. You see, this is the result of being mute when Buhari empowered his marauding brothers to slaughter farmers during his first tenure. You people keep quiet because of 2023, and now you are complaining.

he doesn't know that nobody farms in kaduna anymore, all the farming villages has either been completely ravaged or totally emptied, its the most determined farmers that goes to the bush to do the real farming in commercial quantity, even as at that, you will pay bandits through your nose to allow you access to your farm and to allow you farm in peace, nobody takes yams to kaduna to go and sell, no route to kaduna is safe, even if you make it through, the amount of money you drop at every check point, is enough to pust your cost price per yam to 6k, talkless of when middle men add thier own margin. So this your guy doesn't know what he is talking about, if it is in other states like taraba or nassarawa I will agree with him, but not in KD.

Please I have two questions:
- Why is it most prevalent in Kaduna state and which areas of the state are the most affected?
- Kaduna is renowned for its ginger production (the highest in the country). If so, do farmers cultivate ginger at all?

actually Kaduna is the most weaponised/militarized state in the country, but unfortunately, the love of money is too strong, making bandits and soldiers to live side by side. They still farm ginger but on a lesser scale, not as massive as pre elrufai era.

You are lying! The issue of herdsmen and farmers predates Buhari's administration, just that people hoped and expected him to find lasting solution which didn't happen. He even proposed some solutions but suspicious and lack of trust wouldn't allow southerners to welcome the proposals.
Having said that, the issues of herders vs farmers crisis concerning food security have now been compounded by terrorists and bandits.
