But you people said West removed Jonathan…. Why can’t they remove this one and put their favourite candidate.
Venezuelans all over are crying, you’re saying it’s the west favoured candidate grin

I support the protest but why would they add unconditional release of Kanu to their demands?

When i said Tinubu should have used that 90billion naira Hajj subsidy money to subsidize food, this is what i meant. We can all see how wicked and insensitive this Govt is, threat of protest is now forcing them to take some very necessary actions. Kudos to Tinubu for acting at least....

Politicians in Nigeria tend not to do the right thing at first instance because they know there abounds a large population of stupiid people in Nigeria .

They know there are countless number of Nigerians who will support them no matter the decision they take . They know there are people who will because of tribal sentiment, religious preference , personal bias , etc defend the wrong thing/policies .

There are people that will twist logic just to defend stupiiiid government policies without any benefits accruing to them from such venture.

The only act that would be impactful is creating policies that can make people to fish, not give them fish.

Anybody that buys this rice (definitely party members and families of officials) will automatically make 30 to 35k on each bag.

There's scarcity, there's inflation, and somehow, you expect who bought rice at 40k to cook it and eat? grin

Kudos to him sha. Let me drop my congratulations.

This is why any sensible igbo man should distance himself from anything concerning the protest. Small small the narrative don dey switch even as protest never begin in the south.

Why didn't they come up with this idea of subsidizing rice until now. Bad governance is knowing what to do and not doing it. Here is evidence

When we say Nigeria hard these politicians think it’s only food and food
That’s just obvious these guys are so clueless and useless
Sharing palliative and reducing foodstuffs is all they think about as solution

At 40k per 50kg a lot of family will be able to afford compared to 75k if they make it generally available, it is a temporary measure but i would still commend him for acting. It won't stop the peaceful protest though....

This people no rate us. Did it have to take a protest for them to do the needful?

So far, Tinubu has been a big disaster.

They simply have no clue what the ordinary man is going through.

It is what happens you a leader surrounds himself with sycophants and yes-men.

They should make this protest a monthly affair.
Tinubu is approving anything that gets to his desk.

Tinubu should bring back fuel subsidies.

Stop oil theft and subsidise the cost of crude sold to Dangote so that he in turn can sell at an agreed cost to Nigerians. It is that simple.

There is fuel subsidy though, in fact we're paying more on fuel subsidy now than we did during Buhari's time.
