Fake news. CP Egbetokun has said Nigeria is safer today than it was last year. I just pity those supporting these bad men in government. They lie openly without shame |

Insecurity is one of the major reasons why there is shortage of food. Not only in Zamfara, there are so many communities in Sokoto, farmer's CA no longer go to the farms. The former Governor of Zamfara state, have been accused by a Boko Haram Commander in a live video that is going viral, that he is a sponsor of terrorist. The Boko Haram man did not hide his face and identity. There is more to it. The DSS and military intelligence should investigate the video. 1 Like |

The more I read this news, the more I feel somehow. This is my submission 1. People have been farming on lands that belong to no one for years and feel entitled to it 2. You now have nomadic farmers who have been told that those lands are common territories that belong to no one, and they have chosen to graze on the same lands. 3. The farmers think of the cattle herders as bandits and have no desire to share lands that belong to no one...even killing their cattle 4. The herders also feel entitled to the lands and follow the proverb...a child that won't allow the mother to sleep won't get sleep either. 5. Both sides call on the government to attack one side for the other. 6. The Govt is at an impasse because both sides do not own the land, and trying to share the land makes the govt look like its on the side of the herders. Should the lands be left to the farmers even though they don't own them? If Govt needs to set up ranches, they also need some of these lands. Those in the SW or SE don't want ranches as well. Northern farmers don't want ranches...if the govt belongs to all people, shouldn't the govt protect the rights of all people, including the herders' right to lands and waters? It's just food for thought. We need lasting solutions. MasterJayJay: |

MasterJayJay:This is the area federal government should dwell on. Ensure bandits and Herdsmen are cleared from bushes and farmlands and farmers can go back to their farms. When this is done, there would be plenty harvest. No hunger in the Land. Not this cosmetic approach of importation and distribution of available grains to hungry masses who cannot access them. There will be no hunger protests too. It's not a rocket science. Government knows what to do. 1 Like |

Yet, your leaders can afford to draft all the soldiers and Policemen to Abuja and Lagos to counter or prevent legitimate protests...! A nation is drowning in famine due to insecurity and poor policies, but a lot of attention is rather focused on Planned Protests. No wonder criminals and terrorists are so comfortable across the nation. |

Thank God the policies aren't affecting just a sect. Keep making it about tribalism. There are no special treatments for your lots. Nigerians aren't upset with the government because there is hunger, but in the midst of the hunger, the insensitivity of government expenditure on frivolities is where our pain lies. If it is hard indeed, lets all show solidarity. Let us hear that these are the sacrifices those in the helms of affairs are making. When someone has good intentions, it cannot be hidden. Every tribe stood to vote MKO Abiola. The Igbos voted massively for Obasanjo. Yorubas didn't. If they desire to vote for their own after supporting other tribes for so long where is their crime in that? Aren't they part of Nigeria? I am not Igbo. I voted Peter Obi because I saw through him and knew he means well. Plus, his antecedence were clear. If you aren't impressed by his CV as governor of Anambra, then you are corrupt. As long as we have your lots with a sickly mentality of this nature, progress in Nigeria can never happen. strangest: |

Too little, Wicked, Insensitive & Too late! The most important: since you said SUBSIDY IS GONE, buy still wasted Trillions of Naira on fuel subsidy from May 29, 2023 to date, Nigerians are demanding that you do the following: 1 Return Fuel Subsidy & Fuel price back to ₦185 2. Return Exchange rate to at least ₦600/1 USD 3. Return farmers to farm for food security & more 4. Release MNK & other people being held hostage, as released & ordered by the court 5. Return Billions of Naira wasted, embezzled or stolen 6. THEN RESIGN! RETURN THE STOLEN MANDATE! |

They won't deploy police and army there but they can use all resources to disrupt peaceful protests. I already said it severally that terrorists have taken swathes of land from Nigeria but some people are here praising tinubu. Not only in zamfara but some other northern states |
