Please I need advice, I got a fully funded scholarship covering living cost and tuition fees for PhD program in Canada. Do I still need a POF for my application.
2. Please which portal is the best for application, the new or old portal??
You will need abit if POF. Scholarships are based on meeting certain requirements. The VO might want to ensure that you'll still have funds if something might happen to the scholarship.

The old portal is more friendly to use.

Which university is that and which program are you going for if you don't mind my asking

Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet.

The same with me. I don't know why this is happening. The application was submitted over 2 weeks ago so they surely have received it. When did u submit yours?

While having funds in your sponsors' accounts (such as your mother and brother) is acceptable, it is crucial to present a clear and credible financial support plan. It's better if a significant portion of the required funds is in your bank account. This demonstrates that you have direct access to the money you need for your studies and living expenses. If your mother and brother are providing financial support, consider transferring the necessary funds to your account before applying. This can reduce any doubts the visa officer might have about the availability and accessibility of the funds.

Thank you. How do I provide a clear and credible financial plan for my studies. Note, it's an undergraduate degree for 5 years.

I intend to put money in a gic account and then pay my full tuition for one year. Then, also have my mom send me some money via gift of deed to beef it up.

How do I present this in my SOP under POF?

Okay, this is a good financial plan. Explain all these in your SOP and LOE.

I guess they changed the system because mine was in the tracking system one week after I submitted my application back in December. Congrats on your PPR though.

Hey what IRCC portal did you use for your application?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 1:37am On Jul 31
While some Vos, based on your presentation, can accept full funding with a monthly stipend as an acceptable proof of funds, others may not be as lenient as these scholarships, though available, are only accessible when you meet specific requirements. Temporary resident applications, such as a study permit, are based on the discretion of the visa officer handling an application. So, I recommend having a substantial amount and showing a reliable source of funds for the subsequent years. Suppose you don’t have additional funds or a sponsor. In that case, I strongly advise you to request a support letter from your Head of Department, or supervisor addressed to IRCC stating that they guarantee maximum financial support for tuition and living expenses and that you merit it. Furthermore, in your financial analysis, precisely mention what the scholarship covers, how much will be provided per period, and when it will be disbursed.

None of them impact the outcome of the application. Gckey account has a larger file size limit – 4MB

Good morning house. Thankfully, I arrived in Canada safe and sound. Thank you for the invaluable input here. It has been of great help. If you are new to your study permit application, go through the threads here and do it yourself. Don't give money to any agent to do it for you. Many of those agents don't have access to the information you know. Be strong and allow God to guide you.

I came here through Air France. To God's glory, I had no issue at the POE. I was asked, "Why are you here in Canada?" "What is the name of your school?" "Do you have a travel ticket to where your school is" "When are you going to your school?" (I first went to Toronto to spend a week before heading to the province where my school is). As the lady was asking me the questions, she was checking the computer, as though to confirm my answers were true (you see why you need to fill in your application yourself?). She then stamped my passport and gave me my study permit.

Be sincere in your application. If you need anyone to put you through, ask questions. If by any chance someone is filling your application, be there and see what they are inputting in your application. Also, be bold when you get to the POE. Let them know you know/understand what you are saying. Above all, trust God for help.

To everyone awaiting approval, Heaven will smile on you very soon.

Thank you all.

Glory be to Vod for safe arrival. Were you asked anything about how much you came with?
