'Self-immolating' Trump should drop out after 'disastrous' interview: critics

Donald Trump’s highly-combative performance at what is being called a “disastrous” on-stage interview with the National Association of Black Journalists went so poorly there are calls from the left for him to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

Trump arrived on stage late, blamed the organization’s equipment rather than, as HuffPost’s Philip Lewis reported, negotiations backstage “that NABJ not do the live fact checking.” The event, slated to last one full hour, ended when the campaign pulled the plug after just 34 minutes.
“The questions were Rude and Nasty, often in the form of a statement, but we CRUSHED IT!” Trump claimed on his social media platform.
“Trump should drop out of the race,” announced libertarian organizer Joshua Reed Eakle, president of Project Liberal, which includes on its board of directors former GOP Congressman Joe Walsh . He also referred to Trump’s performance as “the behavior of a toddler.”
“This was a train wreck that derailed into the ocean where it was attacked by a shark and electrocuted before being hit by an asteroid,” mocked gun violence prevention activist and Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts, referring to some of the ex-president’s recent remarks.

Journalist Aaron Rupar, founder of Public Notice, described Trump as “angrily self-immolating.”

Human Rights Campaign national press secretary Brandon Wolf added, “Donald Trump is breathtakingly racist, utterly unhinged, and completely unfit for public service. He should drop out.”

“Donald Trump is mentally unfit to be President, and every single editorial board across America tomorrow should have an op-ed calling for him to drop out,” declared Democratic pollster and strategist Matt McDermott, who also appeared to call Trump’s performance, “completely deranged + unhinged.”

The Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson asked, “When will @JDVance call for @realdonaldtrumpto be replaced at the top of the ticket? It’s clear Trump’s age, dementia, and collapsing physical and mental condition have rendered him unable to carry out the campaign, much less the Presidency.”

I personally make a point of watching the original takes of reported events, whether Left-or Right- leaning, so as to form an independent opinion. And I can tell you, the mainstream media is overwhelmingly left and full of misinformation. No wonder Trump calls them 'fake news'.

The whole thing was a sham. The organizers were ill-prepared, equipment setup was bad, planning and scheduling was a mess, unnecessarily wasted 35 minutes of Trump's time. The lady who started off questions was disrespectful and rude. Wouldn't even greet Trump, wouldn't call him 'President' and it was so obvious that she couldn't wait to fire her 'gotcha' racist questions at him. It was clear that the audience knew it too because when Trump return 'fire-for-fire' they were cheering him on.

He got his MESSAGE accross, was cheered by the crowd and sowed seeds of doubt - which was all he needed to do.
Kamala never identified with her Jamaican side, only her Indian side. She withheld evidence that would have freed a black lifer, and is married to a white. Nevertheless Jamaicans and Blacks embrace her (see below).
So in your opinion Trump spoke like he had DIMENTIA and should drop out of the race??

Haris went to Howard and pledged to a black sorority. So, yes she did identify as Black early on.
Being biracial is common in the US. She can eat Indian food in the morning and have Jamaican food in the evening. She is both Indian and Jamaican.

Look it when I'm flying to Nigeria, I use my Nigerian passport to prove I'm a Nigerian citizen. When I'm flying back to the US, I use my US passport to show I'm American. Does that make me less Nigerian or American? no.

And they were toothless in unmaking him from becoming a president against Hillary despite their vitriol. Talk is cheap.
The only reason he lost reelection was because of covid. If it's within his fate to become president again, he'll with or without liberal media diatribe.
