Something tells me that this is just another money making scheme for the Opolo eye criminal, same way they tried to blackmail Binance execs to extort 150 million dollars bribe from them.

Hopelessly stupid animal who thinks that running a government is like running a 419 extortion racket.

So because they are fined, they told you personally they would be leaving Nigeria right?

Is the fine something they can't negotiate?

Nonsense talk!

WhatsApp is acting like a spoilt child. If they think they can just up and leave because of a fine, they should remember that Nigeria is a big market they can't afford to ignore.

Tinubu is just doing his job to ensure that companies follow the rules and regulations. If they want to play by their own rules, then they should be ready for consequences.

We are not here to play games; we want a country that stands firm on laws. WhatsApp should either comply or face the music. We cannot let foreign companies disrespect our sovereignty. God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for standing his ground!
