Why do people even think protest will work. You think ur oppressors do not know they are oppressing you, so it is u speaking up and protesting that will make ur oppressor have a renewed mind. No one negotiates his freedom with his captor and gets real freedom. See d independence that was given to Nigeria. Once it is via negotiation, u are only renegotiating the terms of your bondage. If you guys are not going to chase these oppressors away violently, just forget it. 5 Likes 1 Share |

helinues:Your heartlessness is out of this world. Even the IGP cannot tell any Nigerian not to protest, lest your kind. Report has it that there was no single police killed but the security agencies maimed, injured and killed protesters. Try to turn issue around to cow people won't work because Tinubu's economy policies had incapacitated Nigerians and they cannot meet daily needs again. Even the blind knows that protest in the north is always taking to the extreme. They only hear go and not come until they execute their plans. We that schooled in the north know them very well. |

blacknp:Everything to you Tinubu's supporters is all about election and not governance. At the slight, is all election loser. If I may ask you, is it today election has been won and lost all over the world? If by tomorrow election is conducted, some people will win and some will lose. Then, what is the big deal that you're fixated on election lost and not talk about economy doldrum. Low mind! |

It is so appalling that the government of the day still hasn't learn one or two things in today's protest Mhen never seen a man who flocks around his enemies like the president Sha Imagine a protest that doesn't have a recognizable face to it sending this much shivers And the president and his men thinks threatening people is the best Man is unserious and his team are more unserious |
Re: Don't Continue With The Protest: IGP Egbetokun Places Police On Red Alert by obaidan: 1:25am On Aug 02 |
Kobojunkieee:Ideally yes. But sadly the Nigerian leaders are just a reflection of the Nigerian masses too. What may happen is that the government will flash some bread and some protesters will be like, e dun do na, the man dun dey answer small, lets give him time. An average Nigerian will stand for their pocket and that is why the oppressors will always be steps ahead, the aggrieved can be bought for a morsel of food. Very soon palliatives will roll out now and the noise will disappear |
Re: Don't Continue With The Protest: IGP Egbetokun Places Police On Red Alert by Kobojunkieee: 1:28am On Aug 02 |
obaidan:The Government already tried bribing the people with food and cash, particular in the North, and we all see how that didn't work at all. So, here's hoping they have indeed reached the end of their rope and are ready to do whatever it takes to take back power.. |
