I am a 26 year-old male, 5 feet 9.5 inches tall, and my bodyweight is 63 kgs. I have no medical issues, and I am taking no medications. I do not drink, smoke, or use recreational drugs.

3 days ago, I started to develop paronychia in the ring finger of my right hand. It started gradually, but by the next night, my finger was already starting to hurt.

Yesterday was the first time I slept through the pain. It seemed much calmer today, but less than 1 hour ago, (it's 11:53 PM) I awoke to a stinging pain that kept hurting badly till moments ago when I decided to write out this post.

My worst fear is sepsis. I feel a weakness running through my right hand till the upper arm (have felt this way since it started) and elevating my right arm is no longer enough to keep the pain at bay.

As I type this, I just boiled hot water and put some salt. I am waiting for the water to get less hot so I can soak my finger there. Let me see what good comes from that procedure.

EDIT: It's 12:36 AM now, my finger is much calmer, and I hope that I can now sleep.

Very stubborn fungal infection. Mostly happens when you don't cut your nails properly or forcefully remove the extra nail growing at the side of your finger. It hardly heals unless you go hard on it's treatment. Make sure the affected finger doesn't touch water because it will get worse. For the treatment, apply TYNA on the affected finger constantly and avoid it touching water like I said before. Then after a week, use razor blade to cut deeply into the affected nail to remove the bad nail. This allow a fresh nail to grow without growing into the skin. Then continue applying the TYNA until the fresh nail grows and is completely healed. You can get TYNA from where they sell building materials. Talking from my personal experience. Goodluck
