Nigeria is one of the poorest countries in the world, so little tokens like 50-100k might seem like mount Everest to some people despite the fact that they're gainfully employed

In the US however, as long as you have a good job, you'll definitely be able to afford $100.

Like someone earlier noted, if you ask for small change: N2k, N5k..... most people would not ask (if they have).

But someone earns N200k then you ask for urgent N150k and expect then to hand it over like you have jazz in your mouth.
