My candid opinion is that fuel subsidy should be re-introduced and borders open for free flow of food importations like rice, chicken and turkey to assuage the ongoing suffering of masses.

Please Mr president I believe if these is done Nigerians will ever remember you.

Farmers who lose income will not remember him well.

Those who are not employed because jobs are exported for us to import will not remember him well.

The value of Naira becoming 3000 to the dollar would be remembered well by dollar sellers but I don't think buyers will remember him well.

Bond holders who will ask for higher interest to lend him money to subsidise your eating might remember him well, but Nigerians who pay back the loans for the food you ate wouldn't.

Inflation, if it has a memory will rejoice at record highs, and the Nigerian Stock Market will likely hit 200k, but sellers, when they do sell, will soon remember their wheel barrow amounts of money bought far less than before.

This is just a quick take though, so don't mind me.

Farmers will never be at lost. Don't be deceived by insinuations. Those days when food was being imported farmers never complained

The fuel pump price of 800 naira and above because of the removal of subsidy triggered rising costs of food and other items. If reversed back to 200 naira things will be ok

They just stopped farming, and the price of food kept going up, so you now can't afford what's imported.
