So Dangsugar records bad result, investors take it out on NASCON shareprice.

Meanwhile Buafoods is still doing well, I wonder why DS keeps releasing all these bad results abi na them dey take all the fx losses for the entire industry?

I suspect that Dangote wants all of us to fearfully sell our sugar to him. Hence, he kept hitting sugar left and right.

However, we'll see the end of the movie

I was on 3 polling units from 8am to 8pm for the first time in my life to vote and made sure all my adult family voted to show our protest against APC government. This time I am in my state to do our own kind of protest. Therefore I stand with the people protesting now.The protest is affecting three of my active businesses in 3 states but I don't care.If the protest will lead to nse to crash so that it will bring good governance so be it

my dear what we are discussing is the second quarter not the annual report. Besides no one can tell what the annual report will look like.

Yes H1 is 37kobo plus with os of 13.6 B plus. The forward looking eps for the yr can hit 75 kobo. Some statement don't write it as annualised eps which we have been seeing here. The same with that of last Yr H1 was 16kobo instead of .080kobo

Make we dey observe sha..

It's very expensive right now.
As soon as the next earning report is out and the 18B units is factored in, the new earning per share will clarify everything.
Any price UCAP sells now should be multiplied by 3. That will give an idea of how much one is actually buying it without the bonus.
There is profit to be made now by short term traders. If I am going to hold for long, I will just wait till all the madness settles down, especially after next report is published

Going through IB results. And two things is the problem. Interest on loan and forex loss. The interest is being taken care via RI.
The forex loss has realised which is huge and unrealized. What will be the effect on this two things Going forward as per forex if naira can strengthen back to say 1000-1200.

@dave07, welcome to the irrational market.
No one will tell you to seize the day.
The stock market is the most irrational market in human history. Analysis paralysis can influence your bias. Even the greatest investors make mistakes. No one has a crystal ball to predict tomorrow's events. Has your primary objective been met? You can sell stocks today at a loss, only for them to become even more bullish, beyond your expectations and understanding. Identify your investment bias and apply the rule of rational investing in an irrational environment. While human beings can be unpredictable and irrational, the stock market is even more so - we know that the best-performing stock today can be the worst tomorrow and vice versa. Having the right bias to seize the day and buy and sell at the right time always creates a beautiful story for investors. I wish you the best in seizing the days ahead.

A big salute to the ogas and madams in the house giving very valuable information here. I joined the market February this year with the mnidset of short term bu tI have been learning a lot and no more thinking like that again. Can any of the ogas kindly to throw more light on the direction Caverton, Chams and Univinsure are heading, to make a good investment decision. The three are currently part of my portfolio but I am not sure whether to buy, hold or sell for others. Thank you

Surprised all those commenting on OANDO were only posting to laugh those in the bus but not proferring any solution to them........What a forum!! undecided

Bros, as it is, don't sell your OANDO at loss, most of those laughing and making "I told you so" posts already benefitted from this stock and you know their next target? To use mouth to batter it so much and create fear in the mind of holders so the price could go down so low, then, the next posts you shall be seeing is " I already jumped inside the bus again, we will ride it to so and so price".

Never trust the intentions of some of the people on this forum!! Someone once mentioned that no one have the interest of another at heart here .......but I'll say, very very few still have the interest of others at heart.

As it is, OANDO is not disappearing from NGX!!
Let's even say it goes back to N6, there's a way you could go about it and come out without loss, especially if you still have spare funds.........and if you don't have spare funds, just be patient ....it may require time but there'll be a way out of it.

None of those posting knows what the next line of action will be on the stock, most of the posts are assumptions.
This is my opinion on it.
Sept 26, 2023 post.....
Just stumbled on this while searching for another post.

Wow!! NSEMPA for show! Una well-done o. grin

The bashings, jestings, blames , abuse and ridicule at that time eh, it can only take the lion hearted to remain in this stock, on NSE and on this forum..... grin
Many of those bashing that time are well seated and balanced in the stock now.......
Loco don change mouth, Peter, Prof and plenty others.
If that innocent guy had remained in the stock till now based on my email advice to him, he would have been sitting on nothing less than +100% gain by now.....

It's a high risk stock that was eventually worth it.
Thanks to Almighty God that it works in our favour eventually. 🙏😊

I got this message from FCMB and decided to check my app. I saw this.
What's your take on FCMB shares?

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by 4willer: 9:21am On Aug 03
Morning house, please correct me if I am wrong. For those that already had UCAP, buying extra now will be synonymous to buying it at N12 times 3 (N36). This is because they didn't buy their previous shares at the same value as the present ones, right?

Does this mean the price will still come down when real correction sets in, to reflect real value?

Thank you.

That's a very good one from you as usual. That's why I consider averaging down in a very fundamentally strong stock to be the best strategy in the game. I say this without fear of contradiction. The best strategy that is generally taken for granted, largely because of impatience. The vulture is a patient bird.
