ijebosb: You've already accepted that you were wrong when you implied that all African Americans consider her to be an African American. I stick to the topic, call out your BS, and avoid the rest of your st*pid nonsense. You're an id**t! So this is the latest roundup of your f**lishness. Explain how 12 - 10 = 2? Explain how 12 - 10 is not 5 is right wing propaganda Show that RMG Research is "Republicans favorite pollster"? You admitted you were talking out of your ass by speaking for the entire African American community in the US that everyone accepts that Harris is an African American. BAST**D! -Lord 1 Like |

They said Trump was scared of a debate. So he agreed to a date one week earlier than the previously scheduled Sep 11 debate hours after Kamala clinches the nomination. If she blows that as she likely will with her word salad. There will be no recovery. We got a live audience on FOX. -Lord 2 Likes |

Konkoja: Honestly, reading the posts on this forum has left me more pessimistic of Nigeria being a governable country. As you said too many posters believing all manner of nonsense and conspiracy theories. And too many people treating politics as a team sport, supporting all manner of nonsense (racism, corruption) from their candidate, as long as they think it helps 'their' candidate/team win. I would assume that given what is going on now in Nigeria, people would have opened their eyes about the danger of this team view of politics. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ObaIgwe1: Nope in Swing states the Jewish voters matter more and not the Arab ones. There are more Jews in Michigan than the Arabs in Michigan which the far-left keep screaming about when Whitmer won an election in double digits without the Arab support. Aside from Israel, America is the second country with the highest number of Jews and they reliably vote Democratic, a majority of them do. Buttigieg adds nothing to that ticket, him and Beshear they bring nothing. Buttigieg didn't do well with Black voters in his 2020 primary, has never won a statewide election and on top of it he is gay. A big liability for a ticket that has a woman on it, not even a White woman but a non-White woman on the ticket. There is a reason why the potential VP picks are all White men. Left to me I wanted Whitmer as VP but she is a woman. The reason is because of the Demographics a White person has to be on the ticket and since a woman is heading it another woman cannot be on the ticket hence why the VP search was narrowed to White men, Republicans will call it DEI. but according to their dead brains it only affects Black people. Pete on the ticket is electoral suicide and Republicans will be bigots. Harris' team knows this that is why I laugh at Democrats or Democratic voters on Twitter mentioning Pete you just know that they have zero idea of politics. If it is about communication which we all agree that Buttigieg is excellent at then she can pick Shapiro, he is good too but Pete cannot be on the ticket. They know this. I don't even care about the Arabs. Those people are socially conservative and no different from Republican White Christian nationalists the only reason some don't vote Republican is because the GQP hates them. The Arabs in Dearbon, Michigan did not vote for Whitmer in 2022 she won without them by double digits. I advice the Democrats to not forsake their reliable liberal Jewish voters who have been a part of the party in decades for Arabs who are no different from Republicans in thinking and sometimes don't bother voting. The party mainstream must never appease the far-left. 3 Likes |

IjeBos:A smart Democrat will make the Jews happy and let the Muslims cry. The Jews have been reliably voting Democratic for decades just like Black people. The Muslims were not even happy with the party because of the LGBTQ and abortion stuff alongside their support for banning certain books. The only reason why they vote for Democrats is because they are receptive to Immigrants and Republicans hate them. Bush got the Muslim vote back in the day. They have more in common with Republicans in terms of ideological positions but some don't vote Republicans because they are irrationally Islamophobic. 2 Likes |

What is this headline by the NY times? They(and other news media) still continue to get played by Trump because they think being fair and balanced is reporting what each side says as fact. The problem is that Trump is a liar and has been for a while. Trump Agreed to do a "debate" with Fox News. He did not negotiate with Harris and Harris did not agree. He basically made up a debate and the NY times just added legitimacy to it. Been seeing this type of thing from the NY times for a while now. The US News media is failing in the era of Trump.

Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by IjeBos(m): 3:26pm On Aug 03 |
The whole headline is wild and gives cover to Trump. They don't report that Trump backed out of a scheduled debate, yet are reporting a made up story that he and Harris agreed to debate. Below should have been a better headline. They modified it slightly, but I may cancel my subscription over this.

AmazonTopaz: Even if we were talking strictly election politics, not necessarily true. The Dems may need MI to win, and there are enough Muslims in Michigan to swing that state in a close election. So, if they are planning a path without MI then you have a point. But, that's not why me or a large percentage of people vote Dem. We vote Dem because Dems do the right thing and try to speak with a moral clarity. And what is happening in the Middle East is not the right thing. What is going on looks too much like an apartheid state with one group of people giving a permanent underclass status. So, the unequivocal support of ISrael, no matter what they do, would cost Dems more than just the Palestinian vote in the end. 1 Like |

bemeruca: I've been following this story as it entered US politics. Pretty disgraceful and indicative what is going on in US Right Wing Politics. Two thoughts. 1.) A lot of people on the Right commented, criticized and judged without actually knowing any of the facts. And in doing so tried to destroy a Women's life who didn't do anything wrong. I'm sure few will apologize and admit they were wrong. They trade in this manufactured rage. 2.) It also reminded me of Ketanji Brown's hearing and how she was mocked for saying she was not a Biologist when asked "to provide a definition of the word woman". This is the precise reason. She understood there may be complexity she didn't understand and since she is not an expert in the field, deferred. To the Right Wing everything is easy and "common sense", except it's not. And this boxer is case and point. 1 Like |

budaatum: good question, you should be asking them why they were indiscrinately arresting people including a Journalist who was covering the event. he was only let go because one of the officer recognized him. they already put a cuff in his hand. he was not doing anything or protesting, he was not with the peaceful protesters on standing with either, he was just their to cover whats going on. you should be asking yourself the way you think. you have never seen the police arrest innocent people in your life or they have not planted substance in someones car before? for me i don't think i blame them much, they are just following orders from the ediots running things. but you are the one with questionable reasoning here. see them arresting Martin Daubney for no apparent reason and there were many who were randomly arrested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ebggrA2TlA&t=14s |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by bemeruca: 3:58pm On Aug 03 |
IjeBos: Yeah, I forgot to update, she is a woman and she should compete with other women. this other part is stupid. She should be mocked. you as well. we don't live our lives by anomaly. these are rear disability What is DSDs? Differences in sex development is a set of rare conditions involving genes, hormones, and reproductive organs that can cause the sexual development of a person to be different than others, according to the NHS. to further help your condition. there is a reason we have something like DSD, it is to explain a condition. Does your mother have DSD? The answer is no right? So what is she? A man or a woman? are you gonna tell me you are not a biologist so you cannot tell if your mom is a woman or not? we have so many disabilities, some of which are freakish, but they all have categories. a human with 4 hands is still a human with a disability and it is a rear one. so saying you don't know what a human is because one human has 4 legs is stupid. |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by AmazonTopaz(f): 4:39pm On Aug 03 |
IjeBos:What part of Jewish vote will offset any Muslim vote in Michigan do you not understand? They will win Michigan with or without Muslim vote because the Jews and like minded moderates including Blacks make a very significant percent of the state than the Muslims. The Democrats as are the Republicans will continue to support the State of Israel because an overwhelming majority of Americans are pro-Israel. Noise making on Twitter doesn't change it. As long as the Democrats continue to appear pro-Israel like Biden has with his center-left position on the issue they will win the moderate vote and the independent or moderate voters are what win elections. If supporting Israel will cost Democrats support from leftists they will make up for it with moderates. It is about the numbers. Nothing is changing America's support for Israel, with Trump in power Gaza will be nuked if Netanyahu remains in charge so there is still a slight difference on the issue among the parties. |

bemeruca: 1.) It's rare not rear. You've used it 2x incorrectly so it's not a typo. 2.) As to your Update. Let me help you. You were wrong in smearing someone because you reposted misinformation from one of your right ring hate merchants you didn't take the time to research yourself. Something you do often. 3.) You seem to not understand what the US Supreme Court does. This is precisely the kind of issues the Supreme court would address. A novel dispute about a definition where the Court is supposed to hear arguments look at the law and decide. Kind of what she said in the hearing. Kind of like a dispute about an Olympic gymnast being disqualified because the team says she doesn’t meet the requirements of a woman to compete because she she has some Hope these were helpful. |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by IjeBos(m): 4:59pm On Aug 03 |
AmazonTopaz:Are you assuming the Jewish population would support the Dem Party more than they did in 2020? If the Jewish support is the same as 2020 the difference is the Muslim Support. In a close election, that matters. But not only that, the Youth vote is increasingly aligned with what is happening in the Middle East. More than 100,000 Michiganders, 13% of Democratic voters, voted “uncommitted” in the state’s February 27 primary. Michigan is home to the largest Arab American population in the nation. By voting “uncommitted,” they’re signaling to Biden that he risks losing the Arab American vote in the key battleground state. Biden still has a pathway to victory without Michigan, but it's much harder. 100,000 people came out to vote uncommitted in Michigan during this years primary. That in itself is a big deal for a primary. Biden won it by 120,000. AmazonTopaz: US will continue to support Israel but what that support looks like will be different. I think it will revert closer to how Obama dealt with it rather than how Biden has dealt with it. Like when Obama chose not to veto the 2016 UN Israel anti settlement resolution which later passed. The coalition that won Obama the election was an increase in young voter turnout. Young voters want to see a shift a balanced Israel policy. I think Harris is going to follow that model. |

IjeBos: I was wrong for what? lol are you stupid? I just said she is a woman because I was wrong based on initial information. My take has changed so what point are you making? I did not smear her you fool, I talked about the Olympic authorities allowing a man to box a woman. its not a rare condition? what research did you do on this? even the medical field that pushes this nonsense on us says it is a rare condition but you on the other hand have written papers and research on this so let me pretend to believe you. It is only you that understand things yet you come off as stupid and unable to comprehend basic stuff here with almost everyone you have argued with |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by IjeBos(m): 5:08pm On Aug 03 |
bemeruca:Initial information? To my understanding she's been a woman her whole life. So the initial information was that she was a woman. Again, you didn't do your research. bemeruca:When did the Olympic authorities allow a man to box a woman? She is a woman boxing a woman. Again you didn't do your research. bemeruca: I'm not sure what you are arguing here. It's always hard to follow your brain dead logic. You leap around, say random things and think you've made a point worthy of a prize. At least you are using the right word rare instead of rear now. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by bemeruca: 5:40pm On Aug 03 |
IjeBos: Iniital information based on her disqualification for competing with women in the past. then I looked further and saw her childhood photo. this is the same with the south African woman who should compete with women. you said it is not a rare condition. tell me why i should take your words over the one from the NHS? |
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is President-Elect! by AmazonTopaz(f): 6:24pm On Aug 03 |
IjeBos:You are not getting it, LGBTQ issues and abortion is already diminishing the Muslim support for Democrats, they opposed Whitmer in 2022 and she still won why? Because she appealed to the center and Jews are a part of the center, the center are a reliable voting bloc than Muslims, Democrats are not going to change their position on the policies Muslims generally are against to appeal to them when you can continue in a position that is already giving you Jewish support. Also Black voters are the people who make the difference in states like Michigan not Muslims, if they come out in November which they will then no need for the Muslim vote. 100,000 people came out to vote uncommitted in Michigan during this years primary. That in itself is a big deal for a primary. Biden won it by 120,000Ok, Harris will win the general by 20k plus alongside Black and Jewish vote. The center is how you win elections, Muslims in the USA are not a part of the Democratic center but far-left. Ask Tlaib, Omar etc. US will continue to support Israel but what that support looks like will be different. I think it will revert closer to how Obama dealt with it rather than how Biden has dealt with it. Like when Obama chose not to veto the 2016 UN Israel anti settlement resolution which later passedObama was incompetent in foreign policy, I hope Harris follows Biden's way instead, she has to or she will suffer midterm electoral defeats like Obama did, Americans are pro-Israel no matter how loud some people are on Twitter and Al-Jazeera it doesn't change that. The coalition that won Obama the election was an increase in young voter turnout. Young voters want to see a shift a balanced Israel policy. I think Harris is going to follow that model. Not all young voters lol, Obama won because he had enough White support that was why he won places like Iowa,Ohio and Indiana and he did so by being moderate. There is a reason why he was not so quick to embrace same-sex marriage. It was Biden who first came out to. He did not win because of unreliable young voters who don't vote, maybe that has changed since Trump but Obama won Black voters overwhelmingly and got huge White support. If young voters helped him which I do not doubt at all they did it in States that do not electorally matter like New York and California the voting demographics in states that made the difference cannot be credited to "young voters" Harris must maintain the two-state solution model which we know will be difficult to achieve thanks to Hamas and October 7th sadly. But she dare not pivot to the left on this issue or she will lose badly. I trust Biden to advice her. 1 Like |
