The United States of America, Spain, France, South Korea, Angola, Togo, Guinea, Belgium, Israel, and Singapore, have been listed as the top 10 importers of petroleum products from Nigeria’s $20 billion Dangote Refinery

This is even as students across tertiary institutions in the country under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, have passed a vote of confidence on the Dangote Refinery.

However, the products that have been shipped to the countries at different times include fuel oil, gasoline, jet fuel and Naphtha, thus attracting additional foreign exchange to the nation. ...

Mankind2024:
@dave07, welcome to the irrational market.
No one will tell you to seize the day.
The stock market is the most irrational market in human history. Analysis paralysis can influence your bias. Even the greatest investors make mistakes. No one has a crystal ball to predict tomorrow's events. Has your primary objective been met? You can sell stocks today at a loss, only for them to become even more bullish, beyond your expectations and understanding. Identify your investment bias and apply the rule of rational investing in an irrational environment. While human beings can be unpredictable and irrational, the stock market is even more so - we know that the best-performing stock today can be the worst tomorrow and vice versa. Having the right bias to seize the day and buy and sell at the right time always creates a beautiful story for investors. I wish you the best in seizing the days ahead.

Thanks, your points are noted sir

'Peer-to-peer' Analysis
Consider the stock price of the parent company that they are acquiring.
Also, consider the share price of their similar contemporary in Nigeria. i.e. SEPLATT

WHY IT IS MUCH RISKY TO BE COMPLETELY BULLISH ON NGX RIGHT NOW
For the first time in almost 2 years, the all-share index is breaking a low. The last time this occurred was during October 2022 sell-off before market picks up immediate in November of the same year to re-test the high later in February of 2023. The difference in the between now and and 2022/2023 outlook is that the index has already tested the high twice this year and another test may likely be weak.

BANKING INDEX GOT REJECTED AT A SUPPORT LEVEL - POSITIVE OUTLOOK FOR THE BANKING STOCKS
Banking index got rejected at the support level during last trading week, IF THIS LEVEL PROOF TO BE STRONG, then the index most likely ready to rise, to test 960. This is goodnews for the banking stocks.

Actually it's a buying zone for short-term trades. The stochastic and RSI are both favourable for a buy

Yes, it's a buy for short- to medium-term rally. Likely to give fake breakout. That is why I posted banking sector index to show possible buying opportunities as well.

Investment Showdown: Equity vs Real Estate.
I hope this topic finds you well. As we navigate the world of investments, I wanted to share my thoughts on why I believe equity investments should take precedence over building a residential property.
Firstly, the returns on equity investments can be used to purchase a rental property in the future, providing a steady stream of income. This approach allows you to benefit from the potential long-term appreciation of equities and then use those gains to invest in real estate.
Secondly, while equities can be volatile, real estate is not immune to risks either. Natural phenomena like storms, fires, and floods can damage or destroy properties, leading to significant losses. Additionally, real estate investments can be prone to other risks like property grabbing, tenant vacancies, and market fluctuations.
Thirdly, investing in equities offers low barriers to entry, making it accessible to anyone, regardless of their financial situation. You can start investing in equities with a relatively small amount of money, and the process is often straightforward and hassle-free.
In contrast, building or purchasing a residential property requires significant capital and can be a complex process.
Fourthly, investing in equities allows you to diversify your portfolio, spreading risk across various asset classes and industries. This diversification can lead to more stable returns and reduced risk.
Lastly, while building a residential property may seem like a tangible and secure investment, I urge you to consider the benefits of equity investments. The potential for long-term growth, low barriers to entry, and diversification opportunities make equities an attractive option for those seeking to grow their wealth.
I welcome your thoughts and discussions on this topic.

Subsidy was never really removed. The present subsidy is even more of a burden than what it was. With the exchange rate at such a high level, it will take only God to return the situation to pre swearing in of TINUBU.
The country has to just look ahead and see how to drive down inflation with positive trade balance. Tackle insecurity so farmers can breathe. Carry out massive duty free imports of essentials and medicine to increase supply.
Anyone that thinks TINUBU will announce a new pump price when minimum wage has been increased will wait forever. It doesn't make economic sense to do so. His biggest mistake was hastily announcing total subsidy removal on his first day and subsequently devaluing the currency. These brought our economy to her knees since we import most of what we consume.
There is something negatively special about Nigeria that keeps us retrogressive.
God abeg, we need you.
