Why your brother in law?
No one in your own family is rich that can borrow you the money? So your BIL borrowed you 20m...

Shame!

Now, you should stop lying... It's not good...
Some of us can easily spot liers....😜

This must be cos you have a reputation of always borrowing money and likely not repaying on time or perhaps they have to remind or beg you before you repay.

Truth is that even a tight-fisted person would gladly lend money to a person who has a good credit history. There're some people who can ask for my entire salary and will get it within 5minutes. It just depends on the credit reliability of the borrower.

90% of Nigerians in the US doing average jobs can easily send back $100 to their families back home in a moment's notice....how much more those with good jobs.

Same way 90% of Americans living in Nigeria can. We are talking people living normal lives NOT people whose main job is sending money home!
See below, not counting mountains of credit card debt

Nigeria is one of the poorest countries in the world, so little tokens like 50-100k might seem like mount Everest to some people despite the fact that they're gainfully employed

In the US however, as long as you have a good job, you'll definitely be able to afford $100.

Stop capping oga!!!

The bolded isn't necessarily true. It depends on your income and life style. It also depends on who is asking you for the money and the person's financial habit.

I have a family just like this

Provided u ask what is within their means and u knw they can drop

U knw ur brother can spare 30k to 50k. U dey as 200k.

Of course questions will be asked. And if he ask, u go begin beef am. Many dey dis table.

Exactly 💯. Your brother has his challenges too but he will like to know what the emergency request is for to know if yours is more pressing for him to defer his own problems for later and attend to your own pressing need.

Before I collect money from my siblings, I need to write a 450-word proposal. That doesn't even guarantee anything.
In this life, pray to have caring people around.

I suspect that you are the uncaring one in the family, the black sheep and black goat, so everybody is avoiding being scammed by you
