You’re still mentioning Gift Monday, Sebatine Flourish, Ajakaiye that haven’t shown any working yet😂😂

Even if I want to pick, I will only pick Opeyemi Ajakaye as she has that pace that can cause havoc.

What "working" did Sunday Mba show to make the AFCON winning squad? and he ended up leading S.E to glory...

Rosemary Chukwuma finished last in her 100m semifinal. 🥺

Following SAFP’s withdrawal from the semis, the coast is virtually clear for Sha’carri Richardson to win her first Olympic gold medal

Femke Bol’s split of 47.93s in the mixed 4x400m relay is insane 🙆🏾😲🤧

Imagine France 🇫🇷 with one of the Best Squad as far as women’s football is concerned couldn’t even beat Brazil to advance in their own Home soil…!

Chaiiiiie

Is this Coaching Problem or what?

I will say in-game management. Despite the pressure, they didn't even threaten Brazil much. Every of their actions were too impulsive.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 10:26pm On Aug 03
I'm still banking on USA to win this. They're the most impressive so far IMO.

We seem to have a short memory. We were put in a group of death!!!! I honestly didn't expect the girls to make it out of the group considering the calibre and pedigree of teams in our group.

I am proud that they pushed Spain and Brazil to the wire and infact with some luck they could have gotten wins or draws against Brazil and Spain. Waldrum should be allowed to continue in my opinion but he should be given the target of winning the next AFCON.

After today's round of games and seeing the way the 3 teams we lost to at the group stages pushing above their weights today I'd say we did well.
Japan losing in 120 mins to USA
Spain coming back from 2 goals down against Columbia
Brazing trouncing host France
Nigeria certainly did well. Our third game against Japan I'd say the girls lost motivation after losing their first two games and that aftected us during the course of the game.

She is a beast. Who do you think will win in a 400mH battle between her and Sydney Mclaughlin?

Sydney McLaughlin. You can take that to the bank.

I dare say we have another world record.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:25am On Aug 04
Sydney breaks her world records with almost every race. Bol is reigning 2023 world champion in the event. Sydney was world champ in 2022 and defeated Bol in Tokyo in a WR run. We will see shaa...

Bol is in Heat 3 of Round 1 of the women 400mH. Sydney is in heat 5. I know they will meet in the final and that is a final I don't wanna miss.

Ofili filled in for 3 competitions so she could stand a chance of winning a medal or gain experience
One idiot removed her name and stated she won’t have energy for it
Meanwhile she qualified for all 3
What a ridiculous decision by the Nigerian who did that
You are infusing your own limitations to an athlete that believes in herself
Nigeria so far have been doing badly in the games
I think the person that did that without notifying the athlete needs to lose their job and be punished
You’ve cost someone 3 years of her life practicing and preparing for it
Especially when she’s in her prime, time & age doesn’t wait for anybody
What rubbish, especially when Olympics is once in 4 years

Bol is only world champion because Sydney chose not to run. This isn't taking anything from Bol because she's the very definition of greatness, it's just unfortunate she has to compete while Sydney is on the scene. But like you said, it's something to look forward to.

You're not exactly correct.

1. It's not 3 years but 8 years. Favour Ofili qualified for the 2021 Olympics but couldn't compete too with 14 other athletes because the AFN didn't update their testing schedule as required by World Athletics. One of the athletes who was born and raised in the US but instead decided to wear the green and white was so furious she changed back to the US. She competed this morning in the Shot Put even and beat the time qualification and is automatically in the finals. This is someone who could have almost certainly medaled for Nigeria because of how good she is.

2. The reason you cited above was just mere speculation, the AFN didn't acknowledge that as reason neither did the NOC. We are still waiting for them to tell us what happened.

Nice move. All of them seems to be moving to US. This girl and Mercy Idoko caught my attention that year. There is this Aminat Bello too. All fast and physical albeit with some rough edges. How I wish Flourish and Bashirat went through the same route too.

France aren’t good
They’re hyped
They’ve never gotten to a euros or World Cup final
Germany, England, Holland, Sweden are better teams
They won’t have qualified if not for host nation privileges
I watched the game
The Brazilians were slightly better with clinical forwards
It should have been 2 nil to Brazil

I guess we've come to that zone that i do reiterate on the Super Eagles thread for approach to a game.

Skillful talented team vs Determined and resolute team

At the end of the day, the team that buried their chance(s) will be remembered as the better team no matter what anyone says. The Falcons need to arrive at that mental structure where they are so precise with chances, taking every one as though it is the last.

Until then. Now nobody cares about France or even Germany of the WWC.

This Current U20 might give us some quality CB’s but again who will the pairs be cause they currently have 3top youngsters in that position..

••• Shukurat Oladipo (FC Robo Queens)🇳🇬
••• Comfort Folorunsho (Edo Queens)🇳🇬
••• Oyinlola Olamide (Laliga Academy)🇪🇸

For me sha, I’m anticipating for the Pair of Shukurat & Oyinlola going to the U20 World Cup, Comfort should be 3rd on the list!

Favour Ofili can take home gold if she doesn’t slow down like she did in the semis
It was when Alfred ran past her that she realized

Which 7 forwards will Christopher Danjuma go with to the U20 World Cup?? To be sincere I’m finding it difficult to pick at least 7 right now cause the talents here are good to go couple with the return of Flourish Sabastine again.. Taiwo Lawal had a great season in Turkey scoring 14goals for a club that struggled to finish 14th in a 16 team league...

𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒:
Chinaza Agoh (Al Shabab Fc Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦)
Janet Akekoromowei (Asisat Oshoala Academy),
Sharon Ulumma (Heartland Queens),
Delight Isaac Nwosu (Dannaz Ladies)
Adaobi Okah (Remo Stars Ladies),
Chiamaka Okwuchukwu (Rivers Angels)
Mary Nkpa (Heartland Queens),
Chiamaka Goodness Osigwe (Edo Queens)
Mary Offor (Adamawa Queens)
Flourish Sabastine (Stade de Reims, France 🇫🇷)
Aminat Bello (Otero College, USA 🇺🇸)
Taiwo Lawal (Atasheir Belediyespor, Turkey 🇹🇷)

I will love to see Delight Isaac at the World Cup, she’s talented and can Finnish very well, Skillful, fast and very physical..
