JMG12:My brother’s friend where I did internship for one year Then we decided we can use that to say he decided to sponsor my one year school My sop was very good, my access bank statement was very visible to the blind I also stated and proofed the lump sums sent from the company to me Also the school fees was 18,900 cad and I paid in full I don’t know why they said partial payment detected I wrote an email to the school regarding the new admisison letter I got after stating my school fees was 19,900 cad and they said I should discard the information. I now got an email from the same school sending me a final invoice that the school fees is now 19,900 weeks after I’ve submitted my application and IRCC has denied my visa |

Australia worth all the stress ATM. There are jobs for students. Something really good doesn't come easy. Canada- job scarce die USA- post study life is so uncertain UK- filled to the brim. Anyone that has resources and qualifications to go to Aussie should not think twice. It's a long journey but it worths all the stress. My 2 cents frank2zee: 2 Likes |

You need to carry your school along the process. There is no need to to hide that you have been denied visa. They sure know that refusal rate is pretty high. I wish you all the best as you are reapplying. victorygiven: 1 Like 1 Share |

victorygiven: SOP should be under the client information space while statement will be under the Proof of finance space, it is also possible that he did MBS for the statement. It is also possible he did not submit SOP or Statement as when he submitted the application. |

Australia is great but their policy is not friendly. Imagine you won't get post graduate work permit once u are 35 yrs and above. Guruindahouse: 1 Like |

frank2zee:Australia is a great country no doubt, it was my top choice at some point. But, I would prefer Canada, since they have better policy compared to Australia, and is more closer to home and other advanced countries, which means you’ll have greater exposure if you like adventures like me. Canada is a more multicultural and diverse nation just like Aussie…which means you can easily navigate your way. No chills…schools in Aussie are far more expensive compared to the great white north. And you can easily earn yourself a scholarship. Again, You said job opportunities…forget what you hear on media their is enough job in Canada to accommodate everyone in Nigeria…. Just ensure you are properly positioned, that is be technically skilled or be academic ready…if you don’t get a job in Canada, remember US is also a land of opportunity. And shares boundary with Canada. But in the end, the choice is yours my friend. Make God help us✌️ 6 Likes |

techgen: I submitted since 10jun. No update yet. Only biometrics passed, medicals not passed. Background check still in progress. I mailed the IRCC last week with urgent. Then on Tuesday I got a call from my bank to inform me that IRCC asked for verification for the account statement. Which was nice of them. Since then no update IRCC . and school is resuming 26th August |

I noticed that people who applied for their study visa in April and May got feedback within a month after their submission. People who applied after first week of June are getting feedback within 6-8 weeks after they applied. I don't think it's a "New portal is slow. Old portal is fast" that everyone seems to be saying. I think they have a lot of applications right now. 2 Likes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by techgen(m): 6:50pm On Aug 04 |
somtorizm: You’ll surely get your feedback…most people that got positive feedback pretty fast are those that reapplied, while the denial rate with the old portal seems to be fast, they usually take their time to verify docs on the new portal as it is quite automated. Again, some persons who applied using the old portal are also facing delay. But, I’m certain reply from IRCC will be fast this August…because most international students are coming in September. So, relax and send webform as a form of reminder. |
