Dele Momodu should recognize that leadership isn't always about yielding to every demand. Tinubu's track record speaks volumes; he’s always focused on long-term solutions. The strength of his governance approach has proven effective in Lagos, and we can trust he’ll navigate these challenges with the same resolve. Patience is key. 182 Likes 24 Shares |

Now I see why Davido called this fat bozo his boy. His only achievement was using his Owambe magazine to celebrate all the criminals in Nigeria during the dark days of our history. Even since the world went digital, he's been wasting away polishing shoes for Atiku. Mumu wey suppose go into full time blogging or skit making. Boda Agbaya 48 Likes 2 Shares |

Dele Momodu needs to chill. Tinubu knows what he’s doing; he’s not a novice in governance. The man has a plan, and sometimes tough love is necessary for real change. Let’s give him time to implement his strategies. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day! 133 Likes 10 Shares |

Me too Never expected a rehash of the old wives tales of CNG, funds for SMEs, students loan and palliatives we've been hearing since last year. He even mentioned minimum wage as if that was not already decided before the protests began!! That speech was a waste of airtime. All the TV channels that aired it would have been better off using that time to show porn while the radio stations would have been better off using that time to air Olympics boxing event. I'm totally ashamed that came from my country's presidency. 53 Likes 4 Shares |

Dele Momodu needs to realize that President Tinubu is a man of action, not just words. His broadcast was a clear reflection of the leadership Nigeria needs right now. 104 Likes 1 Share |

The president actually failed to address the demands of the protesters in his speech, it was mere promises that cannot remove hunger in the land neither now nor future. 23 Likes 3 Shares |

It was a speech to boast about giving billions to a, b, c etc. Billions that no one can prove really got to intended target. Imagine saying you gave loans to 600k nano business. When did this happen 22 Likes |

Many issues the president's broadcast failed to address for me You are telling us to be patient - for how long? You didn't tell us what you're specifically doing on the issue of pump price. What should we expect next month, two, three months or next year? What are you doing about refining locally so pump price will be cheaper? These are what we want to hear. What is the projected pump price we should expect? No short or long-term promise. We should just be patient.. That doesn't cut it for me. I expect more from the President of a nation like Nigeria. All the measures he spoke about, the efforts don't get to the people. You keep giving money to state govt. Sanwolu open market for only three weeks and they stopped. Was it that the money coming from the FG stopped? So many things left unsaid. I'm really sad that this protest has lost momentum. I hope we get it back tomorrow. Cos if it dies like this. This FG won't do a damn thing . 20 Likes 3 Shares |

Philipponzaghi: The demand of all of Nigeria is not every demand. You Tinubu E-rats are shameless. What has proven effective in Lagos? If you look around in Lagos the infrastructure on the ground is not commensurate to the revenue made monthly. If Lagos were poor like Ekiti and we have this infrastructure, then you can say Tinubu has a track record. But Lagos is already rich and anyone can achieve something with it. The quality of a good leader is the ability to listen, empathise and make compromises. After all, the money is not his 46 Likes 3 Shares |

I wonder if Saddam Hussein was compassionate, Gaddafi, and others...an iron grip is required not kid gloves! From his speech, governors are getting lots of money now from the subsidy removal. FG is improving revenue but WHAT ARE THE GOVERNORS DOING WITH SO MUCH MONEY AVAILABLE NOW? See Rivers as the are wasting money buying cars for their loyalists instead of using the money to develop the state. Tomorrow the people will shout president did nothing, but the state governors are on jamboree. We should focus even harder on state governors. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

The president is a dullard. He is lost on how to salvage the country's economic woes. Meanwhile, he deceived his gullible followers that he is a first-class student from his fraudulent University degree. His supporters have truly entered one chance. 16 Likes |

Salewa97:Governments set short term goals (to cushion the effect of any harsh policy), mid term goals which eventually ushers long term benefits. If you've been following this government, you would realize that all the points the president reeled have been said by either Mr Ngelale and/or other ministers/spokesperson of the president well over 8 months ago. Meanwhile, the cost of living keeps increasing for the common man. The numbers are not looking good you know. 4 Likes 1 Share |
