For close to a month now,no rain here in Kwara state except cold weather and dull weather, kindly share the state of weather in your area

I knew the risks. But mehn waiting ten months for cassava always appears scary to me. As e dey so, like One M I dey expect don blow up

i was never interested in cassava farming for a day

Even as am typing it's raining in Aba, can't remember a day without rain in Aba...wet town

it's a risk worth taking, but if your area weather supports beans or rice, you might want to try them,both have shorter harvesting time,4 months at most

Lol, I planted 70 days maize which are typically ready from 65 days. The lack of rain did not let the maize get beyond the vegetative state

I am directly on the bank of a river. I have three pumping machine. The issue is the cost of maintaining the irrigation system got ruined after fuel climbed from the 150 per liter when I planned the project as against where it is now. Because of the inflation the villagers do not want to take up any projects that isnt large income jobs and paying huge for irrigation daily for an extended period coupled with the cost of maintenance is not something one can engage in during the rainy season and make profits because the markets would buy it at the same price they buy regular rain season harvests under the assumption that we are in rainy season.


Anyways, I am counting my loses

nothing missing/loss. Thank God,it is not a BANK LOAN PROJECT..There shall be SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS. GOD will not watch his own suffer drought.
