What is this shit. This is not even up to the amount the president used to buy SUVs for his wife. VP residence alone is ₦21bn these clowns spent on it. And you are disbursing ₦2bn to 6 institutions as student loans. After increasing University school fees by more than 5 times, this is the nonsense for student loan? 24 million naira for the entire Uniben?? That cannot even pay the school fees of Faculty of Engineering students You better bring back subsidy on Tertiary Education. Stupid man 2 Likes |

tunwumi: Don't mind those hypocrites. If that figure is true, imagine that school in Katsina collecting the combine sum of what UI, UNILORIN and UNIBEN got not to talk of the Bayero School and Maiduguri own. Yet they cry the loudest all because the person in power is not a northerner since he is not doing their bidding or listening to them. hence they disguise it as a protest and incite their gullible people. People that don't pay tax ooooo in that their region. All the cows the sold or are selling, is the government collecting tax or vat on it?. NO. I wonder why or who made this country one. |

The results are; 2) Nigeria as official poverty capital of the world, 2)Nigeria as one of the most insecure countries in the world. |

Bluntemperor: May God punish you and the mouth you used to type this nonsense. I don't give gratitude for mediocrity. If this is what you call thinking outside the box, then you are not a thinking person at all. One of the few things Nigerians enjoyed from Oil wealth over the years was cheap University education. Your stupid god Tinubu came and removed that and told Nigerian students to start taking loans to go to school. 24 million for an entire University is what you want to be grateful for. How many students can that help? If the clueless mọron called Tinubu has destroyed the brains of some of you, the rest of us have our brains intact. He should have left the University tuition the way it was instead of this shit called student loan. |

This initiative is like robbing Peter to pay Paul. You take away subsidy on education, resulting in high fee and then you replace with a loan. For a country whose purchasing power dwindles almost quarterly and without a guarantee of good job after school. It is well.

No good economic adviser, imagine removing subsidy to be subsidizing education that's already subsidize Nigerians are among the countries that pay less fee on education yet Tinubu think we need subsidy on education than fuel Baba take fuel back to 300, suspend this academic scheme, grants and other programmes, spend all the money on subsiziding fuel Fuel subsidy, electricity tarriff are the only thing average Nigerians benefit from the govt |
