Nine people are feared dead as hundreds of youths, many underage, took to the streets of Kano on the third day of the #EndBadGovernance protest, raising Russian flags and calling for intervention from President Vladimir Putin. Despite a 24-hour curfew imposed by the Kano State Government, demonstrators expressed discontent over hunger, high living costs, insecurity, and poor governance.

Protesters along Emir’s Palace Road and BUK Road carried Russian flags and urged Putin to address Nigeria’s hunger crisis. They declared that the current situation is unsustainable, preferring to risk death from violence rather than continue suffering from hunger and deprivation.

A protester, Auwalu Idi, said, “We would rather die of bullets than of hunger. We cannot stay at home and die of hunger. We have no food or water, and that’s why we are out protesting again. We are raising the Russian flag because we believe Tinubu is following the agendas of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the United States.”

During the protest at Kofar Nasarawa in the state capital, Aliyu Abdullahi from Kofar Nassarawa Quarters was reportedly killed during a clash with security forces. An eyewitness, Musa Tela, said Abdullahi was shot when security personnel opened fire to disperse the protesters.

In Kurnar Asabe and Rijiyar Lemo, Fagge local government area, clashes between protesters and security forces resulted in the deaths of nine people, including two women. Resident Aliyu Abdullahi recounted, “Eight people were killed in our area, including women and children. An elderly woman and three others died, and many were left with various degrees of injuries.”

Despite the curfew, protests continued in areas such as Ungwa Uku, Zaria Road, Jaen, Gunduwawa, and Tudun Wada Brigade. State Police Commissioner Salman Dogo Garba said that youths, under the guise of a program organized by an unnamed politician at the Nassarawa Palace of Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, took to the streets chanting anti-government slogans. “A group of people took advantage of a program organized by one politician to continue their violent protests, but we have suppressed them,” Garba said.

Nigeria and its endless cycle of chaos. Raising foreign flags in protest? What a joke! Instead of seeking help from Putin, these youths should focus on holding their own leaders accountable. If only they had the same energy for constructive dialogue as they do for violence. Just sad.

It's disheartening to see the chaos that continues to unfold in our beloved Nigeria. Raising foreign flags in our streets only shows how disconnected some groups are from the realities we face. We need unity, not division. These protests are just a distraction from the pressing issues that demand our attention.

Davido is an Igbo man with Yoruba name just like the current governor of osun state.
Offsprings from the marriages between Igbo and Yoruba are all Igbo with Yoruba names.

They are known to favor their Igbo side the more. They are 98% like to marry from Igbo tribe.

Proof me wrong.

This is a clear sign of misplaced priorities. Instead of addressing the real issues at hand, these protesters are busy waving foreign flags. What a shame! Those who lost their lives must be shaking their heads in disbelief at this nonsense.

The wise ones are the ones fuelling and promoting this protest, the foolish ones are the ones on the streets

Wise ones like

1. Tunde
2. Adeola Fayeun
3. Peter Obi
4. Sowore

These guys are behind closed close doors keeping their families safe. They don't give a fvck about you dying in the protest, you are just the necessary sacrifice needed for their goals

These wise guys are using the streams to get views, likes, comments and subscriptions to boost their Social Media account to make money online while you are dying of bullets

These guys don't tell you that violent protest will get you killed, as long as you are not their family, it's okay by them. If you violate Police right and get killed in the process, that's your own destiny and no one will mourn you.

TBF people have the right to let known their feelings about uneasy government policies and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu understands what everyone is going through pertaining rise in prices of commodities but these policies are getting us to where we need to be

The girl is half Lebanese and half Igbo.

Her dad is Lebanese, her mom Igbo from Anambra. But you know whenever a foreigner marries a Nigerian man or woman, the Nigerian side always dominate
