How long will it take to fully charge because that charging period is a downtime. One can buy petrol in 5 minutes and not lose precious manhours. 2 Likes |

The beauty of this is that if the state govt charges too high, private individuals will likely step up and offer cheaper alternative charging spots. 1 Like |

This governor ain't smiling at all. I think 2500 is a bit on the high side considering the target the government is trying to achieve which is making life easier for people cos of the tribulation brought by Tinubu by the withdrawal of fuel subsidy. However, if you look at it from another point. They say Necessity is the mother of invention and also competitiveness brings about innovation. Our Hi-Tech guys should quickly device or invent alternative cheaper charging system. It's easier to do. I personally can do it if I am in the country. It's not brain tasking to quickly invent a charging system as long as you have the specification of the battery. Invent it and be charging the batteries for them at a low price of 500 Naira.....install your charging station system at every corner of the State and I can tell you......within few months.....you are a millionaire and can advance into big thing with the money you are making..... eventually, government or governor will be force to reduce or eventually scrap those government stations. |

Praxis758:They said 80 kilometers when fully charge, 2k5 a day is not bad at least other private businesses can jump in and maybe competition will drive the price down, I don't know why some people are complaining. 2k5 fuel is about 3 liter and some fraction of petrol here I am not sure that will carry you anywhere. |

Haters gonna hate even if you give them your head on a platter, it's not about good governance it's a gaslighting, hypocritical game they are playing. It shall never be well with every enemy of the Yoruba tribe. God bless President Bola Hamed Tinubu God bless the Yoruba land God bless ogun state God bless Nigeria well wishers 3 Likes |

mrvitalis: I've been following the conversation. That's how you will waste all of your energy and saliva talking, explaining to people who'll never understand. Many of them can converse in English, you'd think they're enlightened but on closer look, you'll find their ROM is corrupted. They want free things to drop on their laps, without wanting to give anything back. They won't criticize objectively. Before we conclude whether the initiative is economically friendly or not, check out the variables...How much does it cost to run the bike on fuel daily? If it's charged for ₦2,500 per day, how many hours does a charging run? Can it be charged elsewhere if it's cheaper? What does it look like to maintain the machine? ....then we can draw inferences. These ones just want free things. Nigeria is still one of the places where education is cheapest! I'm not applauding the government, I'm only being practical. If a public officeholder messes up with public funds, show them the door! That's how it's done in the saner climes that you are quick to refer to. Not you coming here to rant and your mothers will still go and collect ₦5000 from them thieving politicians. 2 Likes 1 Share |

gaby:You guys are just bashing unnecessarily. Question you should ask before conclusion. How many kilometres does the single charge go. If it's cheaper than purchasing 2500 worth of fuel for same kilometres then why complain. If it's not. Must you get the bike. |

mrvitalis: God bless u for this, bro U understand the mindset of an average Nigerian Imagine wanting to charge it 500naira, something that could last for a day. As if the Govt got all that for free The uninterrupted power supply has a source too. How would they maintain that if people charge for free Thanks for your detailed comment 3 Likes |

NextAbuja: Tell them bro Nigerians are hard to rule and I guess that why the politicians don't bother trying at times Like these guys want it to be free They don't want to give at all the Govt 2,500 for a charge that would last for a day. Isn't that better than buying petrol? 1 Like 1 Share |

mrvitalis: You people think you are wiser than others or more educated , I believe you comparing Nigeria with saner climes where there are accountability for all public funds and management of taxes. Can that be said about Nigeria, all those little tax people have been paying, You think All Nigeria are unexposed? You and I know that those tax that will be generated will be for the government officials and their family, you think Nigeria resources are not enough to make Nigeria better? gaby: You know the most shocking part of all this is how THE ONLY JUSTIFICATION given for such a stupid price for charging is the relativity with the disastrous CURRENT FUEL PRICE. This means if fuel price was ₦190 per litre, then the charging could have been ₦300 naira per charge. But just because fuel is like this, then the people should count themselves lucky to be paying this mad amount and charging price will go up if fuel price goes up. How is nobody seeing this? I cringe. |

The headline and narration is incorrect You should rather state the kilometers a full charge can cover A full charge can last some people for three days which is still better economically and climatically Use media positively not negatively Spread love and humanity Stop reframing the government’s narratives 2 Likes 1 Share |
