The users should calculate which will be cheaper between petrol and this 2,500/charge.

I think 2,500 per charge is a lot. 500 to 750 would have been ok since it is a bike

U enter sch gate at all?
2500 for a whole day

If full charge can cover 75-80km

How many kilometres can a regular bike covers with 1 litre of PMS ?

What is this capacity of the battery

If the charge station is on Band A...that's about #226 per KW...so, #2500 will give us about 11Kwh ..is this not too much for a small battery

You people think you are wiser than others or more educated , I believe you comparing Nigeria with saner climes where there are accountability for all public funds and management of taxes. Can that be said about Nigeria, all those little tax people have been paying, You think All Nigeria are unexposed? You and I know that those tax that will be generated will be for the government officials and their family, you think Nigeria resources are not enough to make Nigeria better? Taxes here will be looted and be relooted then they start buying properties oversee …

There is no accountability because u don't contribute

Tax someone earning 30K 20%? Haba. That’s not how taxation works even in those countries you want to copy so badly.
Absolutely let him vote someone who would give him value for that

When he pays 20% let him collect 5k to vote a thief

I guess u are the type that would want it free then cry it's not well maintained

The idea of Africans is weird theh believe government should get money from anywheee and make their life better instead of contributing money to government as tax to make their life better

Ogun have a population of 7 million, Nigerian GDP per capita is 1.6 million yearly

200k tax on average individuals per year
Gives you 1.4 trillion that's the minimum amount Ogun us supposed to get from tax

There is no how u pay that money n elect idiots
There is no how a good person ruled for 8 years with that money that u won't get great value for your money

N2500 per day is a lot. That's approximately N75,000 monthly. note that if they charge it this expensive, they would definitely charge their customers very high too. I think N1000 daily should be okay though

You are the one who is not calculating . You even added insults to show how empty you are. I don’t know if I should interact with you based on your intelligence but for the benefit of other readers let me explain.

An average commercial bike takes 2k to 3k fuel for the full day, bike engines do not consume much. Having to pay 2,500 for a full charge which probably last a day does not make sense. At least it should be lesser that the average fuel expenses. Mind you, the charging station is not readily available at every point which means you have to reserve some of the charge to transport to where you will recharge .

We are looking at the economic viability of using the charging stations so don’t bring the idea of charging at home. That is not what the article is about

Lol...don't mind me..

Answers to questions like these will give everyone the idea of what is happening.

I know for example, a Tesla Car has about 50-100kWh and can cover up to 576Km

Some e-bike range about 15kWh..so, #2500 on Band A may actually be cheaper than we think.

That's why I dey ask the capacity of that battery

You pay tax and government provide value for your tax because it's cheaper paying Tax than providing it yourself

If you don't get value for tax u vote them out

I can't believe someone would comment "good initiative" ... in every elective and appointed offices in this British company.

I LIKE HOW YOU PUT IT.
...in this British company ( enterprise).

Most Nigerians don't know that this is not a country nor nation...it's a business venture.

---------------------------------------
Oh. And by the way, inorder for us to reduce our carbon footprint ( another oyinbo global warming scam), we need to be using electric bikes... THAT WE WILL CHARGE MOSTLY USING DIESEL or petrol GENERATORS...which will still add to our carbon footprints 👣 !!!

Excellent!
By the time oyinbo is through with Nigerians, Nigerians will be literally begging for mass firing squard, since we decide we no go get sense!

Fun fact:- the oyinbo man is still using and consuming diesel, petrol and kerosene in huge increasing capacities, while mumu Africans are blindly going for " green energy".

Not that green energy is not good, but it is just one of the mixtures of energy that a free nation needs, which MUST INCLUDE DIESEL, PETROL AND KEROSENE.

You can't just abandon diesel, petrol and kerosene , while the elites still steal the crude oil and sell cheaply to strangers of a pale skin. Then they ask you to be using only solar or wind generators.

Ask them: the Lagos blue line train, you think dem no go power the lines later with diesel? What if there's general NEPA wahala, ṣe di trains will just have to stop nii?

It is gbajue!
