My heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone who've kept this thread very impactful over the years. I stumbled upon this thread almost a month ago, and I've really learnt a lot here. I cannot thank you enough!! I just registered with Morgan Capital last week and I've gotten my login details. Please, I have a question. I'd like to invest in dividend-paying stock such as presco. Please, how do I claim my dividend when it's being issued? Do I need to fill any form or it will be automatically sent to my bank account? Thanks in anticipation 3 Likes |

The NYSE is experiencing significant losses at the premarket opening, and the impact of the Middle East unrest on emerging markets remains uncertain. Concerns about potential contagious effects are valid. The question remains: how will the NGX perform in this volatile environment?" |

Mankind2024: I think it is just adjustment NYSE is doing. They already took position believing Trump will easily win over Biden. Now they are thinking Kamala will win. 2 Likes |

Hello everyone. I am relatively new here but I have been silently monitoring this well informed and highly helpful thread. Kudos to all of you. Please, on which platform do you monitor stock prices live? The ones available to me at the moment appear to delay updates for 60minutes. Merci |

Why do I have this feeling that some people are salivating and thinking that the price dropped from 36 naira to the present value and are queuing to get a bargain? By the time they realize that they are buying at the same rate as the previous highs, I wonder what their reaction will be. debeey87: 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 11:15am On Aug 05 |
ojesymsym: I believe thinking about the price level of UCAP before qualification is practically irrelevant. It may be a consideration only for those who bought before qualification and are still holding waiting for their bonus shares to be allocated. But for those buying now the reality is the current price, which some believe offers good trading opportunity, and a good entry for medium to long term investors. 4 Likes |

yMcy56: I didn't want to share my views based on the current performance but I will try to do that by Friday. This is a company that sold more quantities, profit margin increased, shareholders fund increased and was able to increase return on equity. It is very rare to grow equity and return on equity at the same time. Most times when equity increases return on equity will fall or will be flat I think the current renewed interest should be due to the Analyst report by Cardinal Stone Partners on the Palm Oil industry which was released last week 3 Likes
