What I saw on facebook. Fx gains are falling lol.

But a fall is expected given the relative stability this year

I no even understand. Is it not really supposed to be a one time thing if they had picked like #1500 for the calculation from the onset. Are people expecting it to be a yearly thing.

Ucap still being on bid is nothing special
Ucap was supposed to be in the range of #45-#50 before Mark down.it touching #15 now is expected and not a big deal

I expect some pull back due to profit taking by traders at some point

H1 2023 exchange rate was less than 1k. There hasn't really. H1 2024 fx rates have beenn between 1,200 and 1,600
It has not been that stable

Presco is just warming up.

In the near future it will be worth a lot more

Someone even placed a bid for 1M units at around 171 naira. That is more than 170M he is ready to spend.

I'd like to invest in dividend-paying stock such as presco.

Please, how do I claim my dividend when it's being issued?

Do I need to fill any form or it will be automatically sent to my bank account?
Yes. You will need to fill a Registrar's form for the stocks you have as a beginner, submit and get confirmation that your form has been mandated to receive dividends.

A good thing now is that, you may not need to fill different Registrar's form because of the automated window adopted by SEC now.
You details can always be picked by other Registrars for payment of future dividends to you.

Another good thing is that, some Registrars now have online E-Dividend Activation Form which you can fill and submit online on their portal.......AFRIPRUD, APEL, part of them.

I did the one of APEL last month. They still made me to go through my broker and sign a transfer form.

Watch out for a minimum price of N50 if Oando is able to deliver good results for H1 2024.
Most of the oil & gas upstream companies on NGX are selling above N500.

Hello house, can someone guide me on how to move my shares from an inactive Cashcraft to another broking firm? They have closed down their office in my town. I don't know what to do. What are the steps to take? Their website, email and other ways of reaching them are all inactive.
