Amigoss: Your original post reads : Moscow and st Petersburg better most western cities and capital. In order to justify that claim, you brought a report that rated 3 western cities ahead of Moscow . So we can jolly well say ur initial post was an exaggeration/wishful thinking on ur part |

BlueRayDick: To be fair to him, I have a couple of folks that studied and currently work in Moscow and none has ever complained of racism to me, one complained slightly about the language On the other hand , a Sudanese friend was telling me quite recently that his brother that is studying medicine in Russia wants to rejapa to the UK due to serious Racism and wants to switch to engineering ( so I no know wether na real racism abi the course don overwhelm am ) I have not been to Russia yet, but I don't think Russia is bad as being protrayed here, tho definitely not as favourable as the west. |

Blessing Oborodudu in the semis of the women's 68kg (win and she is guaranteed a medal, even if she loses she can still cop bronze) Favour Ofili is in the final of the 200m We may have an outside chance at the women's 4*100 and 4*400m relays if we're lucky. At least we may leave with a medal. As for the basketball team, lmao they're playing the USA. That one is done. This Annette Echikunwoke matter pain me reach bone. Nigeria is a dream killer. 2 Likes |

Taguchi: I wasn’t doing any comparison with him sha . He’s the one that made an assertion which his own link has later confirmed to be u true . I’ve not been to any of the countries , I was just surprised to read Moscow is better than most western cities and capitals . |

So like this, tinubu sold out the south for an alliance with the north that is currently being destroyed in our front. Will he be able to mend his relationship with the northern elites before 2027? Because he sure as shit isn't getting any support from the SS and SE region. The middle-belt is not looking too good at the moment. The man is basically in trouble😁 Power of incumbent? |

BlueRayDick: In terms of aesthetics, Moscow might surpass a handful of Western cities, particularly some Italian cities, in my opinion However, when it comes to opportunities, standard of living, hospitality, and overall well-being for citizens, immigrants or prospective immigrants, no region compares to the West. Anyone arguing otherwise is likely being mischievous. The West stands unrivaled!!! Okpa and Amigoss suppose go warm eba chop This their argument no follow |

Interesting that it's the northern border this complaint is coming from. I'm sorry but it's difficult to not just believe some of these things are planned also. But like I said, if the man had not further plunged the country into this level of shit, it would be easy for him to navigate this whole issue. https://www.nairaland.com/8176321/customs-still-collects-import-duties |

izzou: We had this discussion after the Niger coup. Russia has sponsored multiple coups across West Africa and if they have their way Nigeria will be next. They would actually need a presence in Nigeria so they can cheaply evacuate Niger uranium and other resources . Most of their vassal states are land locked. Maybe build a railway line across the entire region. Putin is looking to create his new world order and some northerners are willing to be his vassals if it comes to that. I suspect someone showed their hands too quickly. The low education Ibime was talking about. |

izzou: On Monday, protesters from Kakuri, Tudun Wada, Rigasa, Unguwan Shanu, Abakwa and other areas within the metropolis stormed the popular Ahmadu Bello Way, through Ali Akilu Road looting and breaking into private residences. A protester who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES said: “We want Tinubu to step down and Atiku Abubakar to take over the governance of the country.” When asked why they are waving the Russian flag, the protester said they want Russia to come to their aid. “Just like Niger, we want Russia to come to Nigeria.” https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/721307-endbadgovernance-kaduna-protesters-loot-wave-russian-flag.html |

Spy360: Nwanne’m, I will advise you pick between the US and Canada. The US is pretty cut and dry and the process is faster if you pick the F1 (student) visa route. For the F1, you have a few things that are going to be positive for your application. 1. Finances 2. Family in Naija 3. Background in STEM 4. Work experience. Post graduate studies, particularly Ph.D. programs in the US are fully funded with a lot of grants to support, especially for STEM related courses. Post-graduation opportunities are also available if you excel exceedingly and want to remain in the academia. I always advise people looking for Ph.D opportunities from Nigeria to avoid the big named schools and target smaller State schools because of post-graduate opportunities if they want to remain in the academia. The bigger schools have a ton of people pursuing the same post graduate opportunities, in comparison to the smaller state schools and it gets harder. By all means, if you can, please avoid agents because these things are pretty easy to process if you have a laptop, internet and a little bit of time. Take some time to research schools that offer the program you are looking for. When you narrow it down, reach out to the professors/ instructors of that program and start engaging them on your plans to apply. After applying keep engaging them, alongside your admission counselor. Prepare to write qualifying exams, each school is different but have the mindset that you will be writing either or a combination of GMAT/GRE/TOEFL. Also, some schools waive the application fees. All the best! 4 Likes 5 Shares |

liveLongNprospa: Honestly, I would be worried if the presidential election was next year. While the North won’t forget, 2027 is still a lot of time for Asiwaju to realign the North. As for the South, you are right about the SE and SS but I think the SW will have a stronger showing for him in 2027. He has done enough for the SW in terms of projects and appointments to regain the numbers and dominance. 1 Like 2 Shares |
