Anytime you see too much English and few facts and figures . Just know that confusion and lies will be there..

How much is GENCO generating electrity
How much is it sold for. is it sold in USD in Nigeria
Show comparison with independent GENCOs why do they have cheaper electricity fees.?

Go and kill him na🙄🙄since you're now the giver and taker of life.
It's understandable that we don't like his approach to government but this you said is just not right, either for sarcasm or real.

Electricity is different because the electricity act of 2023 signed allows anyone to generate, transmit and distribute electricity as long as they are registered with the government. If I install a solar farm and start generating 5MW, I can sell it directly to consumers without going through the grid. Although, grid will help me save cost of getting it to you because they already have infrastructures on ground.

I will invest in solar farms only if I get my money back. Imagine more of me in the market, obviously, price will come down. Also, I’m not dependent on gas or coal, so my overheads will be lower.

I won’t want a situation where I go bank, borrow money to build solar farms, only for my customers not be able to pay, hence why gov should install meters and punish electricity theft.

Electricity generation, transmission and distribution is capital intensive most especially when you're in for commercial purpose. It is a different ballgame when you want to generate what you only will consume such as Dangote companies, BUA, Redeem church. So going into it for commercial reason is not as simple as you think.
And no matter the law, Nigerians will always find a way around it. There won't be competition at all

So the FG is still paying power subsidy? I no understand this country again oh!
Nigeria is finished. What kind of nonsense! The customers are subsidizing - buying pole, transformers, service wires and so on for the epilepsy electricity supply; yet government too is subsidizing with billions for what we did not enjoying. Who is fooling who in this country?

You are talking about metered households or unmetered households because I don't understand your submissions concerning 50k, 7k, 10k? I'm on band A, four units for 1k. Does that look to you like someone who is enjoying electricity subsidy? If I'm to use electricity regularly, my household would be consuming 6 units a day which is N1500. That's 45k per month. We're on ration now since band A palaver started. You may be on subsidy, my household is not

For metered is when d removal of subsidy arrived that's when u are buying 1k for 4 units .

So if it has been revived then 1k should give u around 25units or so .

No if. Let's talk reality. The minister is now targeting other bands concerning subsidy, that's why he started crying again. Any time they're ready to push out another new unfavourable policy, what you would see first from them is this, wailing and crying grin grin grin. Band B, C and D should brace themselves up
