In the midst of the ongoing #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria and hunger protests, a peculiar and humorous incident was captured on camera, sparking both laughter and bewilderment across social media. The footage shows a man looting a Nigerian police signpost amidst the chaos in one of the protest-tensed states in northern Nigeria.

The video, which has quickly gone viral, depicts the man struggling to drag the heavy metal signpost along the street. Despite the tension surrounding the protests, this particular moment provided a lighter, comical break from the otherwise serious atmosphere.

Onlookers were seen laughing at the man's futile efforts, with some even making jokes about the situation. One popular comment humorously asked, "How can you loot a police station?"

Sell it to those buying condemned metals. There is poverty in Nigeria quite alright but you see the poverty in NW and NE, it is frightening. It’s a combination of multidimensional poverty with chronic ignorance mixed with religion.

Sadly, northern elites like it the way it is. A huge population that can be controlled and used anyhow for political gains. In the next 50 years, the situation can’t change.

It's now happening under the cover of protest. They don't need to hide anymore.

Thanks for the explanation. I just remembered aboki used to buy scrap metal when I was growing up. It all makes sense now.

As per the north, I think they are okay with that life style. They also practice sharia law and have all those hibah police to keep them in check except for the rich northerners that are immune to those laws.
