Is it an ordinary RX350 or RX350 F sports?

An ordinary RX 350, I have worked the gear box but it needs constant tapping ❗️❗️which I dont want cause it keeps failing

If your transmission issue isn't electrical, then I'll advise you to scrap the car, sell it to someone willing to buy it or just sell it's components, transmission issues and "gear specialists" will ruin your finances. The only car issue I pray never to face is the transmission, and should I face it, I'll scrap the vehicle, I know what I'm talking about, start thinking of the value you can get for the vehicle and then looking for money to buy another, could be something not in its class but will give peace of mind.
The money you'll waste on buying valve body, converter, fibre and eventually a new transmission which might all not fix your issues can be saved and added to what you'll get from selling the vehicle as is, to get something working right.
I know transmissions can be rebuilt, but I'm yet to find or hear of any famed trans rebuild workshop here in Nigeria, and in my opinion, the most crooked subset of mechanics are those who call themselves "gear specialists', i did not advise you to replace transmission because even the sellers can't be trusted, but if you find an honest and really skilled mechanic and a seller who will refund your money should the gear not work great, then go for it, goodluck

Please I don’t understand the transmission issue, I’m talking the gear and how am being advised to get a new gear
Re: Tell Us Your Car Fault Lets Assess And Fix Them by quinSonia(f): 11:16pm On Aug 04

All these are NOT necessary.
Also, NO mechanic in The world will refund a dime on a used transmission. It's the job of a transmission seller.

Why didn't you sell your Hyundai Sonata for scrap when it ignition coil failed?
Or did you made sure your mechanic signed a refund agreement should it not work?

You advising the owner of a 3rd generation RX350 to sell off her RX350 just because of a transmission failure is a terrible advise. An RX350 2010-2015 goes for 23-28m in the Tokunbo market and 14-19m in Nigerian used market. The U660E/F (22pin) transmission is about 2-3m in the market and if she gets a good mechanic and a good part seller who's willing to sell a good part, that car will come back alive without a single issue.

Okay sir please the total price for gear & the workmanship and the fact that I know a good mechanic & a genuine auto part seller is another issue

Hello.
Early this morning I discovered a mixture of oil and water in my radiator. Also, same mixture on the gear dipstick. Camry 2007

Please, what's the cause of these, and possible solutions?

Thanks.

your coolant is mixing with oil. Could be a head gasket that's blown or a cracked cylinder

Good day, I recently bought a Honda Accord 2005 and after 3 weeks it started making noise from the engine. I was planning to take it to mechanic the following day but while driving this Sunday, it stopped on a highway. I tried to start it but the battery couldn't. So I borrowed a battery to start it. After starting it, the noise this time became worse and I managed it to a mechanic workshop. On reaching there, he said the sound is from the engine and he had to wait for it to get cold before opening it. The following day he opened it, long story short he discovered the connecting rod is broken, and the crankshaft affected too. He is advising me to get a new engine which will cost 450k and I'm flat broke right now. What can I do?

PS: It's my first car and I'm new to car stuff.

Did you have an over heating issue before now?if yes,
You have a flat head gasket.
Or a cracked cylinder.
You need a good mechanic to help you and replace the gasket and inspect the top cylinder and block engine to know if they are damage or not.

Is there a correlation between coolant radiator and gearbox for the occurrence of oil and water mixture?
Good morning.

Valid question, considering you only mentioned radiator and gear dipstick.

The radiator also is the transmission oil cooler, na there oil and water fit mix.

Wetin remain na to confirm if the oil/water mixture dey your engine oil sump.

Not at all.

The mechanic is suggesting working on these hoses between the radiator and gear.

Yes, most cars radiator have an inbuilt automatic transmission cooler inside them. If the automatic transmission cooler fails, it can cause coolant to mix with the transmission oil

Please I need help with my car.
Car model: Rav4 2003.
I started hearing this kind of tapping noise from the top engine.
Mechanic said it's the Camshaft.
Camshaft changed but the noise continues.
The noise comes out when the engine gets hot. No noise when the engine is cold.
After driving for about 30 - 45mins, the engine oil light starts blinking.
Mechanic suggests we change the oil and oil filter.
But I don't know whether that will solve the problems.
Abeg, advice please?

Your oil pressure is low in the engine that is why the oil light is flashing.
Change the oil and oil filter first.....if that does not solve the problem, let the mechanic check the oil pump and oil strainer inside the sump.

The oil pumps are giving way already reason the oil warning light is blinking which will be worse when on highway speed. Best thing is to tear the engine and check for sludge which may have blocked the oil pump and screen.

but best thing is to manage the engine like that till it dies and be saving for a replacement engine

Good day. My corolla 2011 TPMS light came up after I changed all the tires, it blinks after start up for like 30 seconds and stays on. I've checked the tire pressure and all are same, I've done alignment and wheel balancing. Same issues. What do I do? I scanned and had a code p0037= heated O2 sensor heater circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 2. Kindly advise. Thanks

One or two or three or four of the TPMS sensore is bad or missing you have to scan it with a TPMS scanner or a more bigger scanner that read tpms to know wish one is bad sir. You can reach more diagnosis.

For the bolded, it's not an overheating or an head gasket issue.
Replace your radiator as your intercooler is bad.
Do a drain and refill of your transmission and you should be good. You might have to do 2 or more drain and refill depending on the severity of the mix.

You can buy a new crankshaft, engine block, piston with rods and rings, oil pump and inspect your cylinder head if its safe for reuse to save cost.
Should be cheaper than the 450k excluding labour and time.

Looks like a worn out cam and crank bearing.
While at it inspect if their journals are good.
Inspect car for sludge.
