They may not have the needed finances.

Providus bank is good, but they need to spread to other part of the country.

Please don't ever say this again. I'm unlucky to bank with them as per its my salary account. I don't have peace of mind when I want to transfer my salary out immediately I'm paid. It must be network issue

Providus bank is one of the most efficient banks in Nigeria. I have operated a current account with the bank for close to 7 years now and I have never visited any or their branches.
The bank is tech savvy.

Trust that Providus Bank will fix this. I use the bank and they don't even have a branch in my location. They are very good and I'm sure they'll fix whatever issues Unity Bank is experiencing.

Some are quoting me saying diamond was weak but let me inform you that diamond brought something huge to the table; lots of customers and strategic branches. To diamond, customers na water at the point of merger

These days if you have 10 people to transfer money to, 3 at least will be access customers while the other banks share the rest with none having more than two account holders... Ecobank might have none in several samples... experiment it.

Unity Bank needs Capital to pull its weights Loan Quality, Asset Quality and Regulatory Requirements.

In fact, unity Bank midwifed Jaiz Bank. For the infancy period, Jaiz Bank was located on the 3rd floor of Unity Bank's then head office in Abuja. Staff members were given the option to be employed in Jaiz. Both banks use the same banking software and Unity Bank basically created Jaiz bank.
The problem with Unity Bank was they squandered their golden years. The management was largely northerners and they ran the Bank into the ground. It's the influence of the people behind the Bank that is keeping Unity Bank afloat.

I had account with Heritage, after the licence withdrawal, my balance in heritage was auto.atically transferred to my Fidelity account.

Access Bank came to its rescue.
