Brazilian women advance to their FOURTH Olympic final! I think they are second only to the U.S., in terms of final appearances |

daveP: I quoted you wrongly. Apologies. The picture you posted helps establish the point I was making. The winners of the 3 semifinal heats take lanes 8, 7 and 6 respectively. Those are adjudged to be the best lanes, the best best was what Favour ear placed in and sadly wasn't in her favour. 2 Likes |

Deltamani: Anybody who's followed this competition could see how the Spanish team had been slipping. Nigeria for instance could have beaten Spain if we had taken our chances, and the same truth applies for a couple of their other games. I however wouldn't have imagined Spain losing a semi-final to Brazil. Kudos to the Brazilians and I hope for the sake of Martha they win. 2 Likes |

IOC started Amusan in lane 9 Despite her being ranked very highly At least it’s 100 m and not 200 m God pass them Anything to favour the developed nations Ofili should keep fighting & never give up She’s still 22, unlike Tobi that’s 27 Too many obstacles to overcome if you’re from certain parts of the world I don’t see anybody or any obstacle stopping Amusan from taking home her gold The world record holder has a tough spirit She better grab it this year, time flies & it’d be sad to live in regret Probably the best in athletics Nigeria has produced 2 Likes |

lovewins:Brazil aren’t even spectacular but they do score when they create chances. Brazil can string a combo of passes together I don’t see them overpowering USA though Not saying it’s impossible |

I wish we had a paralluelo in our national team. Somebody who could fashion out goals in crucial moments not an opportunistic uchenna kanu 2 Likes |

Deltamani: I just hope this Saudi Arabia rumors isn’t true, She has what it takes to play in the big leagues. If she truly want to be the SuperFalcons top striker upfront she need to move to the NWSL, French Or Spainish League, anything less is a no. 3 Likes |

lovewins: I was wondering too. Doesn't mean they don't have funny tricks up their sleeves sha. I know Gabby is fastest cos she did under 22 twice. But that outside lane? Naaa. Laws of physics dey too. But i hope Favour bounces back like Saka and even better. She needs it. |

yinkeys:Her only rival is Camacho-Quinn. And i know Tobi dey vex. She wants this badly. I see no obstacle for Express. She owns the WR and e dey shock everyone say na her do am. Scenes where she breaks the WR and OR in the finals. See those 'politicians' going for photo ops with D'Tigress players in their camp. Smh. Shame on all of them. 2 Likes |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:19pm On Aug 07 |
daveP: Tobi's no 1 problem is her start. As long as she gets it right she will win, if not then it's Camacho's. My hope is that she medals whatever the medal is. 3 Likes |

Hello Guys….! Have any of you here been following Blessing Nkor, the U20 international who played for Yanga Princes in Tanzania before Playing in Turkey for Asya Gaziantep W last season..? 3 Likes

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:49am On Aug 08 |
I think is high time we follow up with the performance of some of this Young Ladies in leagues like Sweden, Russia, Switzerland , Finland, Turkey, Poland, Israel and Belarus.. Not everyone of them is opportune to start from the big leagues like France, Spain, NWSL and co.. Blessing Nkor was Nigeria 2nd top scorer in Turkey last season scoring 12goals just 2 behind U20 forward also Taiwo Lawal who scored 14goals.. Blessing Nkor is just 20yrs born (1-10-2003), she plays as a Winger on both flanks and uses both feet’s effectively… I never knew she’s the Tabitha Chawinga kind of explosive player we have been looking for…! 👀 A little back Story, Blessing Nkor is a talented Nigerian female footballer who began her journey with Osklean Football Academy in Port Harcourt., before moving on to play for 3 NWFL clubs, namely: 1. invincible Angels 2. Ibom Angels 3. Sunshine Queen. Then she signed for Tanzania 🇹🇿 giant in 2022 4. Yanga Princess Then in 2023 she moved to Turkey 🇹🇷 signing for 5. Asya Gazientep WFC. Now she’s currently training with one of the biggest Clubs in the World as far as Women’s Football is Concerned..! 1 Like

Here’s a full league game clips of Blessing Nkor former club in Turkey… That Lady plays with Supersonic Speed.., these are some of the players we really need to look out for upfront. Not those Heavy Players that can’t run or do something with the ball.. https://www.youtube.com/live/9b0XeKZwvAk?si=pnluOPSg55JWh2AT |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 2:03pm On Aug 08 |
mirinder:That was what we wanted Onumonu to be. They have similar build, style and demeanor. But one is a striker while the other is a pretender. Btw do you know that paralluelo was once an athlete. That's why she so quick. |

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:19pm On Aug 08 |
JohnBullMySon:Like if you can’t score, then have speed or skills to cause havoc for your opponents defense… Not this Onumonu, Ihezuo, Kanu and co shit am seeing, they need to be shown the door out of the team for a while let the Younger ones of U23 come in so that we can see what they bring right now.. I will only retain Ajibade & Oshoala among the frontline players that went to the Olympics and maybe Macleans to give her game time and see what she does.. If not I’m going for U23 right now not this heavyweight that can’t even run or chase Defenders to commit blunder. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Danielnino00(m): 2:24pm On Aug 08 |
Deltamani: Ajibade has a problem with consistency.. IMO, she needs serious competition... Randy also need to know its time to make do with this habit of using make shift players especially in the fullback position... |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:26pm On Aug 08 |
JohnBullMySon: Onome is obviously pained. 🤣 Like is she the only old players dropped by their National team? Look at Christiane of Brazil who’s even playing at a better level was dropped, Debinha of KC Current who I thought is a must pick for Brazil got dropped too, did they crucify their Country for not picking them? Alex Morgan, that Left footed French & Lyon Lady that can play Defense, Midfield and as a winger did they come to the media to rant everyday! Look at 39yrs old USA Center Back who was their Captain before Lindsey Horan, she was dropped too but didn’t complain.. Mk onome rest in Jesus name, she just Dey rubbish the brand wha she don build for the last 20yrs. 2 Likes 1 Share
