Is Iran looking for a ladder? Iran, which climbed a high tree when it comes to the reaction to the assassination of Haniyeh, is looking for any way to reduce the intensity of the reaction and is using Putin's services and recently issued reports that Putin is asking them to avoid a harsh reaction. Which will allow both to profit: Iran will come down from the tree it climbed (at Putin's request of course) And Russia will get credit points in the Western world and especially against ISRAEL in wanting to continue to prevent the arming of Ukraine with ISRAELI systems. The IDF located and destroyed the launch sites that were placed near UNRA humanitarian aid warehouses from which the launches towards the Lachish region and surrounding settlements were identified last week IDF spokesman's announcement: During the last week, dozens of launches were detected that crossed the territory of the Gaza Strip towards the area of the city of Gan Yavne, the area of Lachish and the surrounding settlements, the air defense fighters successfully intercepted a number of launches and identified crashes in the area. The launches were carried out from the southern part of the Gaza Strip, near two aid and distribution warehouses that belong, among others, to UNRA and were used to distribute humanitarian aid to the civilian population in the Gaza Strip. Air force fighter jets attacked precisely and destroyed the launch sites in the area from which the shooting was carried out, at the end of the attack secondary explosions were detected which testified to the presence of additional weapons in the area. The terrorist organization Hamas regularly violates international law, while systematically exploiting civilian buildings and the civilian population as human shields for terrorist actions against the State of Israel. Alongside this, the IDF, through the Israel Defense Forces, will continue to work in cooperation with the international aid organizations in the Gaza Strip.

The most courageous speech in history was given by a 4 ft 11 in Catholic nun at The National Prayer Breakfast in 1994. The speaker, was Mother Teresa. To her right were the Clinton’s. To her left the Gore’s. Listen to what she said and watch how leaders on both sides of the podium were totally embarrassed. America shifted since to a much more dangerous place. Many republicans are softening their stance and as for the independents - they are very liberal when it comes to that issue. I am not sure is anyone can make America great again. With all the respect and gratitude I have for the American support - the only obstacle we have now is the actual American veto on ISRAELI preemptive strikes. This fearful administration has caused the Gaza war to be much longer and now the same with what we are about to have with Lebanon and Iran. 🇯🇵 The municipality of Nagasaki in Japan has decided in recent days not to invite ISRAEL to the ceremony to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on the city. The official reason was to prevent protests during the ceremony against Israel - which would damage its dignity. In Japan it is reported today that following the decision not to invite Israel, the US Ambassador to Japan, Rahm Emanuel, and the British Ambassador to Japan, Julia Longbottom, announced that they are expected to boycott it. Despite the boycott of the ISRAELI delegation at the ceremony, the municipality of Nagasaki did choose to invite the Palestinian diplomatic representative in Tokyo. Organizers of an international frisbee tournament in Belgium announce that the ISRAELI team is prohibited from participating due to security concerns tied to anti-Israel protests. The European Ultimate Federation announces the move following the postponement of all matches on Tuesday, which was supposed to be the first day of the European Youth Ultimate Championship 2024 in Gent, Belgium, after anti-Israel activists spray-painted slogans on a tournament venue in the village of De Pinte near Gent. The Federation’s statement says that the municipality of Gent “prohibits the participation of the ISRAELI delegation” and “the presence of the Israeli delegation” as well as “any references related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

More than a thousand British military personnel are on standby in case of emergency evacuation of British citizens from Lebanon in case of war. Hundreds of soldiers, commandos, sailors and pilots are on standby at the British Air Force base in Cyprus, and hundreds more are on standby at bases in the UK in case they are deployed in an emergency. Eyal Ofer, expert on Hamas’s economy, is saying that Hamas’s rocket capabilities are disabled, but its power over the population in Gaza still stands. Hamas has 2 brigades left in Dir-el-Balah and in west Nus.irat, which is most likely where most of the hostages are. Hamas’s financial capabilities allows it to constantly recruit new members and take over the humanitarian aid entering Gaza. Based on Ofer’s analysis, the strategic leverage that ISRAEL has over Hamas is to prevent it from going back to the northern part of the Gaza Strip. If the IDF will manage to move the people to the Netzarim corridor area, this would be the biggest obstacle for Hamas to maintain its civilian control over the Gaza strip. (Erel Segal) 1 Like |
