No, they won't! Most of these organizations have their own agenda. They report the truth but they cleverly leave out other details that are not aligned with their agenda. They cannot explain this deliberate act and they frankly don't care. They know in every society, the majority are clueless followers who can't reason beyond the surface.

Lifestone:
This reports should be balanced. Amnesty International should also condemn the destruction of innocent Nigerian's businesses by the protesters

When you cross the red line. Your right to protest does not permit you to destroy and loot non-protesting citizens properties

What this party have done to the Nigerian economy is very painful and regrettable. The most annoying part is that they are still adamant/arrogant and don't want to own up and admit the fact that they have failed.

They have succeeded in bring this once thriving economy to it's knees.

Subsidy in itself is not bad.

But cabals and politicians in Nigeria abused it, they turn the subsidy into corruption scheme leading to massive haemorrhage of the treasury.

Now instead of them to move swiftly without fear or favour to surgically excise the corruption from the subsidy, they went ahead to brazenly remove the subsidy in a barbaric manner.

Now the economy is in a limbo, in shambles

Thank you. Let the mumu Naija youths who think they know it all but actually know nothing beyond the level of BBN keep thinking with their emotions instead of their brain. They will soon understand. My fervent wish is for a military coup but it won't happen due to the move to Aso Rock several years ago by Babangida & the restructuring of the military command by Obasanjo. These largely shallow Nigerian youths need a dose of military rule to set them straight. They missed out on some critical lessons about living within the context of a nation, I would love to see them under military rule for just 2 years grin .

Image123:
see premium gaslighting from bodies sponsored by foreign organizations. Have they counted the number arrested in the UK for protests? Have they counted the number of things damaged and looted in the protests? Have they counted the number of innocent people hampered and affected by the attacks and actions of the protesters? Did they remember to mention that any arrest made was not for protest but for violent and inimical behaviour of the said protesters. Are you aware that these people reporting are not reporting for justice but for more funds? Use your God given brains.

I don't understand the reason for this high-handedness and suppression of the ongoing protest from the government

If your government is doing well, nobody will protest against you, Tinubu is becoming too tyrannical, he's insensitive to the plights of the nigerian people

Our constitution provides for fundamental rights which are inalienable rights.
the reason for the high handedness is because they were already becoming a liability to the average Nigerian.
from looting of govt properties to looting of private properties to disenfranchising private citizens their free movement and also to halting economic growth for too long.
banks are not opening.
so except a govt is incompetent, hell bother more on the right to steal than the right to live.

Is this report true or it's propoganda?

You crave for the nation to do better but you don’t want the old ways of doing things to change. Can you continue to do things in the same manner and expect a different result? The process is not as easy as you were made to believe. That is why the economists will say “all things being equal “.

You say the god of Politics Emilokan JAGABAN doesn't have strategy, yet he kicked out a sitting dummy President Goatluck Jonathan and made a crying and weeping candidate Mumumodu Buhari the President after the Mumu has wept all over the country. Thereafter, he told all the cabal to go to Hell and said it is his turn, the kingmaker made himself the King. Who else can do that if not the god of Politics?

What amazes me is those who have sworn to amadioha not to have anything to do with the protests in their region being the mouthpieces and chief proponents, promoters and instigators of the (same) protests in other regions.

Obi and Atiku are taken this fight too far and it will bounce back on them soonest.

Amnesty if you are sure this is not propaganda drop the names of those 1,000 arrested.

People are hungry and crying and have resulted to protest and you are arresting them? Make it make sense. Honestly this is not the asiwaju I know and was told about, he's entirely a different thing as president.

Abraham Lincoln said - when you want to know who a man is, give him power

when we shouted and screamed here on nairaland daily - before and after the election that Tinubu is a drug dealer - that he should not be allowed into Aso Rock, most people supporting him here put on the ethnic coloration to tinubu’s personality and records -

to be a drug dealer, you have to be who does not give a damn about anyone’s life. whoever stands in a drug dealer’s way, they can kill- it takes an enormous deal of inhumane disposition to sell substances that destroys the human life just because you want to make money

That is the man in Aso Rock, and now that sh it has hit the fan, we all will have to roll up our sleeve and clean after this self inflicted pain we needlessly gave ourselves because of tribal and religious inclinations and sentiments.

stop comparing the UK to Nigeria

in UK no matter how bad it is ———

they have light ooooo

they can feed at least 2 times a day ooooo

they have health care ooooo

they dont get kidnapped in their land oooo

so if people who enjoy at least these 4 things

above do crazy things - yes they should be

arrested- but are Nigerians enjoying these

4 things above ? why not make them

enjoy the 4 things above and see if Nigerians

will protest? when it is convenient ona go dey

compare to other places to Nigeria- BUT when

other countries enjoy good governance and

better standards of living- we can’t talk about it

Is it not an excuse that Nigerians have resorted to protesting primarily against hunger ... ?!
Hunger knows no gids, religion, creed.....etc
This is wat have eluded the common masses as long until now.....
As long as this inflation is hinged on misadventures of this government, they are losing support fast

Don't trust amnesty international. They always play to the gallery. I was a due paying member of amnesty international for many years and when i found out that they always tell lies, propaganda and innuendoes, i stopped my membership due.

Why can't they release figures on the number of citizens that lost their daily income because the protesters blocked, looted and vandalize roads, markets, banks and offices. The numerous companies that lost money and the majority citizens that were incapacitated by the minority protesters.
