Streetinvestor2:Dan Bello has been known to be a political propagandist. Street sense or not, the name Bola Tinubu is not on the books of OANDO. 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by unite4real: 2:50pm On Aug 07 |
Streetinvestor2: I don't think Adaobi was a CEO of Unity bank. Her last job was with Heirs Insurance before Veritas Kapital poached her. She was not even on the board of Unity kapital which was the former name of veritas. https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-adaobi-nwakuche-08625668/?originalSubdomain=ng https://nairametrics.com/2024/06/10/dr-adaobi-nwakuche-let-me-tell-you-about-this-lady-by-joseph-edgar/ It will be good to know more, but so far this is all i can dig up |

GeeKudi:Did you happen to see Bola Tinubu and wale Tinubu on the last agip business deal or signing. The next day news media carried it Bola has sold Agip to his nephew wale.I hope you no the deal was hanging till the president stepped in.You expect his name to be on the board of listed company while he serve as the president of the country. I don't even think legally it is allowed |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 3:08pm On Aug 07 |
unite4real:It is not the current ceo a female. I know I have come across the news that oga in Veritas having running in unity bank.It has always been at the back of my mind to be careful when dealing in the insurance company because of that news |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 3:15pm On Aug 07 |
SonofElElyonRet:He has nothing to prove.I know the agip deal was made possible because of wale relationship to the president. And it is also one of the reasons I went into oando. I mentioned it long ago.It was the political angle which I said about oando and seplet as indigenous company. They will definitely be mentioned as the success story of this government going into 2027 elections. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by SonofElElyonRet: 3:44pm On Aug 07 |
Streetinvestor2: He can't prove President Tinubu is getting any financial benefit from Oando.. as President he is supposed to help all indigenous companies whenever he can and show support/use his connections when possible... 2 Likes |

lasisi: You missed the context of what he meant What he meant is that a president is expected to intervene where/when necessary to assist indigenous businesses as much as possible in legitimate business deals or negotiations with foreign multinational companies especially where such deals will be to the benefit of the Nigerian economy e.g. out of court settlements, quicker approvals etc. That is what Tinubu did for SEPLAT (which acquired ExxonMobil assets), Oando which acquired (ENI-AGIP assets) and another consortium that acquired the assets of SHELL Petroleum. But I concur that the economic policies of Tinubu are a disaster 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by unite4real: 4:41pm On Aug 07 |
Streetinvestor2: Should be Aminu Babangida who was former Chairman of Unity bank, retired in 2023 and became a non executive director on the board of Veritas. I think the present CEO, Adaobi is running the company efficiently since she took over. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 4:42pm On Aug 07 |
mikeapollo:I cannot remember wale crying out before his intervention. That of dangota had to be done after his threat as per malta and shouts from Nigerians. A beg leave story because you and I have interest now in oando. Tinubu and oando in the present running is not separated. You remember I said it last week if the protest degenerate to something else...oando will hit back #10.This is because thr is presently I direct link.Till now no one knows how wale financed the Agip purchase. Or if you have the information make it open here.Or you think the money was in naira. Oga just be enjoying you oando ride and not jumping out to defend anything once oando is mentioned. It is looking like this moniker is a second handle just for oando matter ...lol 3 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 4:50pm On Aug 07 |
Streetinvestor2: I wish. I really do. My advice would just be that you build a company, wait till your relative gains some political/economic influence and then ask them to bring up policies or use their influence to run the company aground so they could look good before everyone 😂😂 3 Likes |
