Streetinvestor2: Please learn to de-personalize issues. The mistake you keep making is mixing topical discussions with inter-personal innuendos. The bolded: You can contact the Oando office if you want to know how a corporate entity financed a transaction, even though it had been widely publicized that Oando obtained a loan of USD800m from AFREXIMBANK (in Egypt) to pay for the AGIP transaction. Again, did Wale or Oando borrow money from anyone when they bought assets of ConoccoPhilips for USD1.5b in 2011.? The same Tinubu govt witnessed the sale of ExxonMobil assets to Seplat! I am able to separate reasonable argument from baseless talk; it does not matter whether I bought some shares in the company or not 3 Likes 1 Share |

GeeKudi:Nice try.i see you are a new moniker. I will take you serious and hence respond to your post when I begin to see your contribution on other stocks beside oando. It is beginning to look some monikers here now are here to market wale.On a very good day I will never allign with a personality like him or balablu. I only followed the money before you think I have iota of faith in wale as a person or the name associated to him.I followed the money because I pay my bill myself via legitimate sources only 6 Likes |

Suddenly everyone is talking about VERITASKAP. ...it's now the next best thing after sliced bread. ![]() ![]() ![]() When I was practically besieging folks to take position in the very same insurance coy @ 20--21k just 2 years ago, some persons called it an epistle. ...what a world we live in! Well, I trust my Prime and Outline subscribers got their fill @ strategic price zones. ![]() ![]() The good thing is; the coy's Intrinsic value/FVE currently prints @ N2.17... which by the way, is an extremely conservative peg. Btw, why do I feel that there might be a VFD group "hand of bolt" on VERITASKAP. Maybe a similarity to the NEM in-house tussle that drove prices to ATHs. ...just a random thought. Who knows! CAVEAT: NOT to be inferred as any sought of investment advice. Due diligence still applies as always. It is well 1 Like |

onegentleguy: First call on OANDO at the time the coy was trading for N4--5. A few other names were also highlighted therein. Moral: Always good to be among the early birds. Everyone knows I love Mr. TIME. mikeapollo:This post addresess nothing to Dangote issues which was recent And mentioning seplet deal holds no water here.We all know whr interest can be protected to the highest and also conflicting interest are too.Go and enjoy your loot.Oando is a sure bet for now. Pls tell the government to pickup the remaining 12.5% in dangota refinery because it will do indigenous business and Nigerians well as the indigenous company needs money to service its debt now .Or they have intentions to make the refinery fail so they can keep importation....600milion dollars they say they spend every month on it 1 Like |

Streetinvestor2: You’re so wrong and you don’t know it. I don’t talk for OANDO or any other stock. In fact, I am a newbie in stock trading and have been monitoring proceedings here and reading other stuff to learn. I bought my first ever share on the use on the 20th June this year. My point is, don’t be so assertive when throwing allegations for which you have no proof just like you did with this moniker thing. And before you go, bro, please help my life. I have been with Bamboo but they don’t have a provision to monitor prices live. Please could you suggest a better platform that offers this and more? And, would it be possible to move my stuff to the other platform? Thanks. 1 Like |

What is now the purpose of Egm of ucap on 21st August if payment is 9th..I thought the idea of the egm is for shareholders to approve dividend payments . Are this companies changing the rules guiding listed businesses. |

Streetinvestor2: Don't think the purpose of the egm is to approve dividend payment. This is interim dividend. It can and will be paid without shareholders meeting. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by leparj(m): 9:53pm On Aug 07, 2024 |
Streetinvestor2: Just checked d documents for the egm. It's to consider, discuss and if deemed pass special resolutions on 3 issues. 1. Increase in Share Capital. 2. Amendment of Memorandum of Association. 3. Bonus issues. No dividend mentioned. |

chimex38: They jointly formed INT towers but MTN later sold little of their shares in INT to IHS. INT brought about lease agreement between MTN and IHS. MTN has a voting power in IHS, the disagreement lead to MTN to collected 2500 site nd gave to ATC, but 1500 was returned after IHS agreed to MTN to have a voting power. |
