Parable007: That refinery will be hard-pressed to produce anything other than diesel. When are you people in that Country gonna realize something, During the last election Mr Obi made it abundantly clear that the lack of electricity is the main handicap holding that country back when it comes to development. That was why he was willing to put a marker down regarding that issue. I supported him mainly because of that one issue. I don't care if that country embarks on building 20 refineries, without any constant supply of dependable electricity supply nothing will change. Salewa97: Partner your President does not have any clue when it comes to the design of an internal combustion engine. The first thing to do is convert the gas to LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) , and that costs money. Holla @ me when that is in place. Then we can go to the next step. |

A government that is not serious in refining and producing fuel disel and other petroleum products with all the refineries available in Nigeria...if refineries are working effectively in Nigeria it can solve 80% of Nigeria problems...it can appreciate the naira and make the naira have value against the dollars, it can reduce the prices of fuel disel and other petroleum products which it wil also l reduce the price of foodstuffs goods and services and reduce the hardship hunger nigerians are facing and can also create jobs for the youths and nigerians and boost the economy and country |

Shame on all of you. A nation blessed with so much crude deposit with no working refinery purposely done for close to a decade or more. A very few suffering the rest of the populace. God will judge you all. If there are working refineries, what would have brought about the the subject of expecting crude to bring back refined products? |

Parable007:Give him which crude? Is it that you people don't understand what's happening or what? Let me put it very simple, Nigeria does not have any crude to give to dangote because the government have used our crude oil for the next 10yrs to collect loans. 1 Like |

Sale of NNPC 400,000 barrels per day should earn the country $1 billion per month. Equal to N1.6 trillion. When the imported petrol is sold, the revenue is shared by the 3 tiers of government. Hence zero subsidy is recorded. Pronto! |
