Them course apc to make wrong decision Why give them tax break when you can give them low interest loans to expand? Did this people in Tinubu team actually know the basics of developmental economics? The decisions they are taking is shocking really makes absolutely no sense... Companies already have means not to pay tax if they don't want to... What you should so is ways to increase payee tax that's the tax that can't be written off, profit tax is not important It's sad seeing this people destroying our economy gradually Our GDP would be below 200 billion dollars by next year at this rate 28 Likes 4 Shares |

This is a solid move by FG. Tax breaks for companies employing more staff will not only boost job creation but also help in stabilizing the economy amidst rising inflation. Kudos to Wale Edun for spearheading this initiative. Let’s hope the executive order comes through quickly so businesses can start benefiting! 37 Likes |

Finally, a move that could actually benefit the common man! This is what we need to see more of. If companies can employ more people without the heavy tax burden, it means more jobs and less unemployment. Let’s hope this isn’t just another promise that will fade away. The people need to feel the impact of these policies in their daily lives. Let's keep the momentum going! 1 Like |

Confused government!!! How do you determine who has hired more than required So, I should hire more than I require to get a tax break? What % of my tax would that amount to? For example, I hire 10 more employees (for nothing ooo), who would earn $40m at a salary of N4m per annum each. After deducting this cost from my gross profit, I return a loss and await Tinubu tax-man to give me 5% of the excess loss I created because one Wale Edun with Zicktch economic knowledge says so. Una dey MAD!!! Oooo! Sorry, I should pay them a minimum wage of N840K per annum. 2 Likes |

I can bet with anything that by December, companies that employed dozens of staffs and qualified for the tax breaks would still come out to say they've not been given any tax break. And the FIRS would claim they didn't get any circular from the FG to put this statement into effect just like customs claimed earlier with the duty on imported foodstuffs. 7 Likes 1 Share |
