That's spot on. The focus must be more on the use of CNG fuel which costs N200 per standard cubic feet at the new NNPC CNG refill stations in Lagos and Abuja as seen in video and media reports since May 30, 2024. There's also gonna be less visits to the vehicle mechanics for costly monthly checks.

CNG is way cheaper than PMS. Even Dangote Petrochemical Refinery refined PMS which will start in August 2024 will NOT be cheaper than PMS. So, whatever Dangote Petrochemical Refinery produces eventually will not be a loss but will be exported to other countries to earn massive FX for Nigeria. It's a win-win situation.
