The tale of woes for Team Nigeria continued on Thursday with world record holder Tobi Amusan failing to qualify for the final of the 100m hurdles event.

Amusan finished third in her Heat with a time of 12.55 seconds.

Having missed out on the two automatic spots, she was hoping to sneak through as one of the fastest losers.

Unfortunately the time wasn’t enough to see Amusan earn a spot in the last eight.

Amusan, the 100m Hurdles World Record holder, made a statement at the Paris 2024 Olympics, winning her heat and advancing to the semifinals with a blistering time of 12.49 seconds on Wednesday. However, she failed to improve on that in Friday’s semi-final.

The worst Olympic performance in recent history...not even one medal. I am not superstitious but it's difficult not to link Tinubu with bad luck....kilode.

One man takes over and everything good went bad and everything bad became worse...within a year o!

I laugh when Nigerians celebrate victory… we’re so used to living in a fools paradise. We depend on grace so much that’s why we can never move forward. Best bet is to leave this hellhole or join politics and milk the nation dry. tongue

The green and white will continue to witness international Shame, digrace and failure of monumental proportional. Nizooria will never be able to do what the worst country on earth can do. Tilumbu's anthem will never be sang outside the zoo. The country's internal degradation will happen simultaneously with the battering of it's already degraded global image until it disintegrates. This is because nizooria is under a curse. Sorry is the name of anyone who tries to bring glory to the zoo.

I was laughing when the beleaguered tilumbu was expecting his yo**ba sister to win a medal to use it for image laundering.

No Sector in Nigeria is Spared from this current administration, not even the Sports Nigerians used to console themselves with.

How can we take 88 Athletes to the Olympics and come back with nothing, not even a bronze medal.

While Nigerian Athletes representing other countries are performing wonders like Salwa of Bahrain, Adeleke of Ireland and Nneka the Hammer Silver medalist for USA.

Quite unfortunate and the Nigerian 4x400m men got disqualified after qualifying for finals
