I stayed back home just to watch her make another historic day in her the hurdles but was absolutely gutted when she failed, she started slowly hoping to outpace her rivals in the final third but the two athletes started with blistering pace and maintained it to the end, and thats how hope of a country of 200m plus Nigerians evaporated, we sometimes can't really comprehend how rotten things have become in this country with failings everywhere we expect hope, with the tiny nation of Botswana making waves at the Olympics reminds us of one the the worst time in being a Nigerian

Nigeria is a super corrupt nation. My American friend once told me Nigeria was almost 300m in population by their findings. That was in 2022. How we can't get the best out of 300m population becomes a mystery. All they're interested in is how to steal.

If I were Nigerian president, I'd engage private body in our sports. In that case, we can get the best to represent us and do well. I see nothing sopecial in what those they celebrate globally today are doing which we can't do. Our boxer who won a medal in past Olympics was a street boy at Alagbado. He went into AIT and he was promoted by late dokpesi. He won a medal for us.

Everything is failing under Tinubu economy, sports, marriages and not even one single medal in the on going Olympics
