Aje... Not sure about that, even 20year old Conner will not work daily pay for someone for 5days without pay and he will still be going. Takless of 2weeks. Except there's something you aren't telling us sha. I can't believe you will be buying fuel and carrying someone around the whole Lagos for 1 full week without any advance or part payment at the least. It's unphantomable

Can't even try it for a day. I believe in action. Any rider that is proving big boy must prove it by running correct transfer to me .. that is what will determine whether I'm coming back tomorrow or not.
Masquerade wey go dance, na the first day he reach market you go know.

I dont fancy getting too close to clients, cos after a while riders take advantage of the simplicity and abuse the privilege.

Na so one big man called me to carry his shoddy back to chevron drive from the mainland. I told him 15k. He was saying its 8k on Bolt that he can't pay more than 10k.
I just told him "ok. I can't come right now. I'm kind of stuck in traffic."
Do you know what it means to import a banny (cost implications)from the island? You now want to pay me peanuts for executive chauffeur.
I have been posting him since then, whenever he calls for an engagement, I think he got the message.

Those guys are very good. You can not imagine extent they can go. They always appear big and some use thick voice like big brother Naijja voice or different fake accent, just to cajole desperate drivers. The truth is, your helper will never stress you. We've heard series of testimonies in the past here, they were simple conversation that comes with great help. Not all these broken reed riders that build castles in the air. They will request for offline trips but not ready to pay for your time and the conveniences you will provide them. The bottom line is, always NEGOTIATE without been greedy and the good ones will add the tip you are expecting.

Mobil filling stations has to lay down policy not to be selling fuel inside kegs whenever there's fuel scarcity, just this yesterday evening on my way home, I branched mobil filling station after secretariat bus stop by otedola bridge to refuel my tank, the way people are frantically buying fuel with no fear of fire, the whole ground was full of petrol, there was even a man that came with a leaking keg, unknowingly to him, the attendant was just filling the keg without knowing the fuel was leaking, I swear to God, in my head, I was like this isn't safe and what if this place catches fire...

If you observe, only mobil filling stations across the state sells fuel to keg buyers during fuel scarcity, who knows what must have caused the fire outbreak at mobil filling station in awolow road ikeja.

News like this should ginger youths to go out and protest but mba, fear of thugs and police arrest will not allow them.
since1970s they have been selling fuel in kegs, fuels subsidy is now removed yet fuel is still scarce and price keep increasing.
until our children start queuing for fuel, if the Govt or People dont wake up now it will continue for long.

Bro, I love the fact that you try to encourage drivers to Japa, but do you know how hard it is to get a visa.....I'm not even talking about the high amount, but the number of people they deny on a daily basis is so alarming.

I've been rejected 3 times at US embassy. 1stly, it was through school(masters). My cousin paid some good amount of the tuition but I was denied visa.

2ndly, It was an invite from him(cos he's a citizen) I was denied still. Even his nurse wife that is based in Nigeria, has not gotten the visa, with all the filing!

3rdly, it was his friend whose daughter wanted to wed. The guy sent me invitation as a cousin to the girl. They are all citizens. I was still denied. Omo, I gave up!

It's really not easy bro. My cousin spent a whole lot for the school stuff.

You go just dey talk this thing like say if you just go, dem go stamp U visa

Who really wants to wake in the morning, put ignition and start driving up and down. If things work out for you, the rest people will seem both physical and intellectual lazy and nah careful man deh observe. Should one bring or write all his problems on Nairaland, so people like Baze will see that one is trying his/her best? Many people get problems. Bro have travelled out of Nigeria before ?
You need to dis virgin your passport before applying to US
US visa is one of the easiest to get cos itā€™s plainly psychology they donā€™t need to verify your bank account or school fees, unlike Canada and UK.
Pls travel to France or Dubai first and apply for US and see if they wonā€™t give you.
You also needs to emphasis about your strong tie in Nigeria, donā€™t sound like you wan Jappa the interviewers are psychologist you go whine dem small.
Though I must agree itā€™s tougher now and more expensive but people still get it. I get archive of testimonies baba I no Dey cap.
To even get dates now na money.

It even has nothing to do with him being a first time traveller.

A friend who has never entered any flight before is on his way to US. Same for my cousin and several others too numerous to mention.

The key to getting US visa especially through study is to write GRE or GMAT, get good scores and apply to schools that have funding (scholarship). This is the difficult part.

Once you have funding, full or partial, getting visa becomes a whole lot easier. Having a regular 9-5 job helps. Especially if it relates to the course you're going to study. Same as strong home ties.

And you're right, once you remove UK that no one wants to go, US visa is the easiest to get.

Assuming I have Twitter (X) and other quick platforms ni, I for dey follow Sanwo-olu and minister of works back-to-back.
Some traffic jams we're facing in this Lagos daily are very senseless and avoidable.

1) The traffic that extends to Iyana-oworo and Gbadaga express way (for those coming from Charley boy is caused by the opening on the rail at iyana-ifako. Why hasn't this been reported for God's sake? angry

2) What stopped the work of the road from Olowu bus stop - Ilubirn - 3mb entrance?
This has been causing a hell of traffic on daily basis for crying out loud! angry

These two cases above are very senseless.

3) Why do government always abandon street lights on roads after completion?
Look at toll-gate bus stop of ikosi, since the completion of the express to Berger and back, they abandoned street lights which is the crown of safety on that express, and it is like that all the way down to Opic and back to Berger.
What that f**k are these people doing for God's sake?! angry

Same thing with ikorodu road to-and-fro, and many other dangerous roads like that! angry

Make I go find these people's handles on Facebook self.

I'm not someone that gets freaked about traveling, infact, I never thought about it for once.

You can't trick me by promising me to take me out of this country while I will fall for it, I get so inquisitive about things and I believe you gotta earn something before you get rewarded for it, so if you're not giving me a reasonable reason why you're doing something for me, my inquisitive traits will start asking questions....

And also, he has actually paid me 95k, he's just owing me like 3days work which I expect him to sort me well for how I always heed to his call whenever he wants to move.

95k for two weeks sojorn

Lmao

I just thank God say you no see buyer for the car wey you been wan sell to japa

Wonders

I guess you still walk around with feeding bottle in your mouth

Meanwhile, raise you right hand up and put your left hand under your arm pit while I pray for you this moment

I decree and declare that every spirit of stubbornness and I too know in your life shall depart for you
From this moment onwards, you will have sense and heed to the advice of your fellow colleagues

Say amen!!!
